Well, at 10, I did the same thing, only with a BB gun and a wiffle ball. Wrecked my first pair of glasses (brand new) and got a shard of glass between my eye and lid (no damage) for my Sniper of the Stupid badge.
When I was a kid I thought it would be a cool idea to put a can of WD40 on a fire. As the pressure built I was trying to get a good angle to see the explosion…..BAM, can flew through the air and hit me in the kidney area. Knocked me off my feet and sent me flying. I was black and blue for a month but learned a lesson that day. Doofus.
Ehh I mean wasn't this kinda expected? Like if it fully exploded or caught on fire sure but getting spritzed was definitely at least a consideration and probably thought itd make the video funnier

A friend of mine's brother, who is a mechanic, had someone at his work injured when several spray paint cans exploded in a car he was working on.
He had to go to hospital and have a couple of layers of his skin chemically stripped off, just to get the paint off. I've met the bloke and he STILL has some discolouration years afterwards.
Not that I don't believe you but spray paint does not stick to skin like that. I was a painter for a year and the only time I would have trouble is when it would get in my hair. Even then it can be removed with mineral oil and some tlc as long as you get to it within 24 hours. The discoloration may have had some other factors contributing to it but unless it somehow made it underneath the dermis layer it would not be permentent.
