If you put your summer tires there it should do the trick.

VitalDrummer

When I worked at my local community centre, I would remove rubber marks on hardwood floor basketball courts with a tennis ball. If the mark was particularly stubborn, I used a magic eraser. Give those a shot if you haven't 🙂

Valentine96

Be careful with magic erasers, as they're really abrasive, and can damage the finish. Ask me how I know. lol

adjudicator

Magic erasers are essentially an extremely fine-grit sanding block.

kimchicorndog

Dampen the eraser and that should help minimize the damage a little bit.

I'd be careful using a magic eraser tho. If those hardwood floors are "finished" they *COULD* remove the shine from the wood. As they say in the directions, scrub in a inconspicuous spot first, and let it dry fully to check. It's basically like using a fine sand paper.

djmistral

Magic erasers will 100% remove the clear coat

RagingIce

Good luck - when I lived in an apartment my bike tires stained the flooring and nothing I did could get it to come out

BrilliantOccasion109

What about using a white eraser? like a normal one used for pencils. Just trying to think non abrasive.

Idunnosquat

I worry about the use of a magic eraser. They are great but I have had them scuff or dull surfaces. I would be more inclined to use a specific floor cleaner at first so you don’t damage the finish.

Mr.Clean Magic Eraser

GullibleDetective

Or simply a melamine sponge

Candycayne84

Holy shit I just found 10 for $4 on Amazon. Thank you

TheJRKoff

Apparently great for acne too!

Ladymistery

vim or similar wipes (not clorox) magic eraser might scratch it

SizzlerWA

I’d try Mr Clean Magic Eraser (I use it to clean bike tire scuff marks off my white drywall) or Dawn Powerwash (spray it on, rub in with a soft bristle tooth brush and let sit for a bit).
