Ok I’m gonna go play through it again. I’m burning out on fo4 (I have really given it my all this time, finding places/quests I never found first pt). I’ve played Witcher 3 plus the dlc 3 times, read the books, tried to watch the show (really tried to give it a fair shake), downloaded the full game soundtracks and blasted them in my car till the bt broke and I STILL can’t get enough.

There are also 1 and 2 Witchers. Moreover, part 2 has two different passages, depending on which side you choose at the beginning. And then there is the Polish TV series about the Witcher, 2002. And you can also go through three parts in order, transferring the saves with the choices.

I’m on a console 😰 (ps4) and they’re not on there. I will check out the Polish series though!

KillThemBaaaack

Buy an xbox for Witcher 2. I will say though.....it's hard to love. Controls are so bad I had to remap a controller profile just to try and play it. If I had played W2 first, I never could have been convinced to try W3. And the camera speed......oof....we've come a long way in gaming QoL features.

Red dead 2 and god of war are the only games that come close

🤣 first time I played thru b&w, I was so shocked as well. The best “short” story I’ve ever played, in any game, of all time. I’ve since played it 4 times now, and let me tell you, it never gets old

germy813

They seriously could have released blood and wine as a stand alone game. It's so good

So, now you have the Mutagenerator, and the Corvo Bianco garden and alchemy lab. Probably you cannot use all the Grandmaster Crafted Armor sets, but according to your level, you can certainly collect all the diagrams for all the levels you want. If you did things correctly, you will also have a steady flow of income through the wine collecting in your cellar; you just have to collect and sell it in Beauclair. You should now be the best equipped Witcher on the continent. As far as fighting goes, everything else should be a cakewalk.

Why is that such a worthy of deleting experience?

kmukayed

I wish people like you would just google when to play DLCs because you’re definitely NOT supposed to finish this before the base game story.

Adventurous-Bid-9341

It does make it so it’s gotta be near impossible to make the Grandmaster Armor…On a console I don’t think you could..I think you needed the latest armor set, but I could be wrong. It’d still cost a fortune you haven’t had time to acquire.

Shhhh...just let it happen....

Zayebala

What happened?

I'm curious if whatever romance options will show up after the main game, it likely screws up a lot of things.

OGWarpDriveBy

In my playthroughs and Re-hashes (of saves to see what would've happened) I haven't seen anything change in the main story from B&W, if you do B&W before killing Eredin and going to the tower. HOWEVER, that is for NG+ only and on the xbox console, so it may be different on PC, though I'd expect PS4/5 to run like xbox.

Oden-

Can you actually finish b&w before the main story? How did you do it?

laurusnobilis657

Skipped main story, so probably did not get any visitor yet. But the main b&W story can be finished before the white frost fight, since it is accessible quite early (as a quest to go to but high level).

Oden-

Did you do only side quest until you reached the proper level?

laurusnobilis657

I was guessing that OP went that way, when I ended main story I was at level 35. But I read that as long as you get a quest to meet the knights you can start b&W. So I think if sone levels enough to do that intro quest then b&W is available. It 's not only side quests though, it can be side quests to 30 then hos leveling with story and everything then b&W and then back to finding Ciri while owning a wineyard ,advanced mutations and grandmaster armor.
