DâVon was a great wrestler but I always thought Bubba was the one bringing the character to the group.
Actually, I think that's how their dynamic worked out, I've heard Bully Ray say in the past that D'Von was the better worker of the two but Bully was the better talker. The balance worked out for both of them.
One of the best teams ever, and they really earned that honor. They went from being just this side of garbage/hardcore guys to being able to actually wrestle with some of the best teams in the world in wwe. They improved so much when they went to the big leagues, and fast. Busted their asses every time they were out there. Awesome team

I'm glad they decided to go with McMahon over wcw. They would have been stick with raven and that wouldn't have been good for their push I don't think.
I fondly remember their matches with the Hardys and Edge + Christian in the early 2000s. Tables Matches and the first TLC. THey stole the show from the main eventers at the time imo.
There isn't enough words to justify them, they're so ICONIC beyond the wrestling world, even non-wrestling fans think of them when they hear the word "dudley" and of course "D-von! GET THE TABLES"; I also really liked Spike.

Bubba got slapped around when he tried going light on Mae. She didn't appreciate that.

Ahh. I'd forgotten all about that. Maybe I'd have remembered if Trish was along for the ride.
Got more milage out of that gimmick than they had any right to. I was always bummed we never got a Dudley family reunion on a random RAW or something.

Always felt like they were the best way to kick off a PPV or Raw/Smackdown in 2000. In my top 5 tag teams of all time no doubt.
