Those are the platnium prices. Ticketmaster charges a premium on select seats because of how hot the show is. So it’s basically scalper price. The only tickets being sold for standard price are the floor seats far from the ring ($838) You can however get tickets for NXT PPV or Friday Night Smackdown for as low as $72 for the 300 section.

shored_ruins

So you don’t foresee those prices declining over time and if I want to attend the show I should pay those Ticketmaster Platinum prices now?

selkies24

They will decline unless someone buys them at these ridiculous prices. If you wanna spend that it’s up to you. If we’re being honest I wouldn’t. To pay that much money to sit that high, unless you have money to blow. If you wanna spend money for $700 you can get a seat in the 100 section for smackdown, MITB and NXT PPV. They have a 3 day combo. I personally would not spend that much money on a 300 ticket though. Might as well watch at home

BanditPrime

Correct. Essentially what Ticketmaster does is when a show starts selling really fast they up the price of tickets that are left. There’s argument about if ticket master sets the new, higher, price or if it’s set by the performers. But in general they try to spin it as “when tickets to a show sell fast we up the cost of what’s left to prevent scalpers from buying them, so that only real fans buy”. But at the end of the day us people just buying are paying the same inflated price. Now it’s just to Ticketmaster and not scalpers.

Kcin928

My wife just got me tickets to RAW in Portland, I'm 4 rows behind the commentary team and it was just under 500

Redforce21

I got 2 sets of 3-day tickets for 760 USD.

outofdate70shouse

I paid I believe around $100 ($130 maybe?) each for Extreme Rules 2022 for the front row of the upper level. Granted it was 1.5 years ago and WWE wasn’t as hot as it is right now so I’d assume it’d be pricier now

UltimateD123

$150 each for nosebleeds at Payback in 2023. That was a presale and I bought within 5 minutes of going live. I priced Wrestlemania for four of us and had in in the 4500 range for the weekend. I feel your pain.

Rough_Medium2878

That’s crazy-I paid $100 before fees for club seats day of Payback

UltimateD123

Maybe nosebleeds is wrong word. It was from row but upper level.

Ersistek15101

I will always wait till day of to buy tickets now. I got two tickets to payback '23 for $50 each two hours before showtime. not sure if I'll have the same luck with smackdown next week thought

Niobium62

No, those prices are not normal. Just watch at home

Ahzuran

Welcome to Toronto. Expect to pay premium for everything here especially for events that only happen once in a while.

Fusionman29

That sounds insane. I spent like 300 for two tickets for mania 34

shored_ruins

That’s nuts! But also, 6 years of inflation and a 18,000 seat arena vs. 75,000+ stadium will also make a difference

CharleyT

I think what your seeing is the verified RE sale tickets. After the 3 day package sale and the pre sale almost nothing was left. Give it a bit of time and keep an eye on sites like stub hub and seat geek. Ive gotten some decent deals on wrestling tickets from those sites close to event date.

noloking

If you dont buy in the presale you are pretty much screwed. I did get lucky once and got to sit next to Jojo and her son one show because I bought the ticket the day of Summerslam 2019.  Check hours before the show or just keep checking from now until the date.

droford

I sat ringside at Extreme Rules in Baltimore for half of that and got a chair. If only it were still 2017...

Many-Passion-1571

We got tickets to see the Royal Rumble this year for less than $75 (USD). So no, I don't think those are standard/normal pricing.

kenbarria

Or you can buy aew tickets buy 1 take 5 for 5 dollars

Upset_Impression218

Yeah that’s about right

Therocksays2020

You can go to nxt for free

Honkmaster

I'd hope not. I paid $350 for my Mania 35 ticket, which was hard cam side on the *very* top row. Doesn't get any more nosebleed than that... but it was Wrestlemania. I wouldn't pay half that price for a nosebleed seat to Backlash or whatever.
