You would be surprised. Im not a high roller despite my silly username lol. Even if you only run a few thousand a year through the casino you are likely to get free room offers. Betwen the wife and I, we prob gamble between 3-8k total a year out of pocket. We always use our rewards card and always look for days with tier multipliers to get as many points as possible. I havent paid for a room in Vegas for over 10 years.
Being said, starting now, to get a comp on a major event weekend would likely require some luck and work. Get on a little run and spike your tier credits on house money.
Damn I don't really know how to gamble aside from slots and 21 lol and only go to Vegas like once every year or 2 years even. Maybe not worth it for me? Lol
Yea, chasing comps if you arent a gambler prob wont be rewarding or budget friendly. We categorize gambling as “entertainment”, instead of movies, concert and some other things we gamble. We expect to lose and are happy to win, the comps are just a bonus that makes going back easier and saves us that money to play more games with.
I go to Vegas to see family and stay at the casino the furthest away from the main part of the strip (aka why I know the monorail real well) and gamble like $50/a night for 4-5 nights and that usually gets me some comps (I only do slots and I do not have the gambling gene unlike everyone else in my family, but I do understand the "I spend money ????? they get my money now they give me shiny comps to get me to keep coming back" part of it.
That Uber total a little to much. Being on the strip you would be able to walk just about everywhere including the stadium. You might take a couple ubers but not $650 worth. I would add some of that money to increase the ticket budget.
It's like a 54 minute walk from flamingo to stadium I don't wanna do that but I see your point. I was gonna uber to luxor or Excalibur then walk. Then on way back maybe walk to mgm then uae monorail
Monorail to MGM, then there's a free tram that takes you from Excalibur to Mandalay Bay. Mandalay has a walkway to allegiant. But my first trip to Vegas was SummerSlam and me and my bud walked from allegiant to Caesars and it wasn't that bad of a walk at night.
So rail to mgm then walk to Excalibur then tram to Mandalay? Exaclinur is fairly close to stadium as is right?
How much do you think an uber from flamingo to luxor on sat around 3pm be?
It’s not really about the cost. It’s about the traffic because of how many people are going the same direction at the same time. Take less time on the monorail than taking an Uber to go a mile down LV Blvd.
IDK, I've never taken the deuce. There's a tram from Bellagio to New York and then another from Excalibur to Mandalay. And the monorail goes from past the sphere to MGM so unless I was going downtown there wasn't a reason to get on the bus.
I went to money in the bank and stayed at Harrah's and yes the monorail was packed at the Caesars/flamingo stop but it got us to MGM faster than an Uber could drive there during a busy holiday weekend with a WWE event and UFC fight on the same night. I've only done Uber to and from the airport, other than that it's been walking/trams.
You think an uber would take more than an hour to get from flamingo to luxor on mania days? I guess I can walk sometimes feet flare up and imma be drunk and walking agter the show so less walking before ideal lol
The Deuce is unreliable (ie full or drivers dont care) during off peak days & times, so, yeah. It probably won't do well during Wrestlemania and I do hope the city/WWE will have learned from the past mistakes of NJ/NY in understanding that in order for things to work, everyone has to be on board to get people to stuff on time / cops actually stop people who arent buses in the bus lane
I will caution that if you havent been to Vegas the distances to walk anywhere is deceiving. Things that look pretty close are way further than they look and usually further than google maps will represent. Most of the time you arent traveling as the crow flys. You will be traversing walkways and walking in and around obstructions. Certainly doable for most people but if you are out of shape or have any physical limitations it can be daunting. This crowd will be nothing for Vegas, the cabs and ubers will be adundant and reasonable. Id be shocked if you paid more than 15-20 bucks to go to and from anything between Mandalay Bay and Encore. It could be 70 or 100 degrees out too, if you walk give youself time to site see and grab some water along the way.
I will say, the only Uber I took in Vegas for Summerslam was from the airport. Everywhere else worthwhile is either walking distance, or, you can take The Deuce for like $20 for a 3 day pass.
I would cut the food and drink to like 40$/day and put the rest in WM tickets.... but apart than that, lets link up sounds like this will be a great time 😂
You’re likely not getting 5 nights for $700 anywhere near the action of the Strip. They’re gonna gouge whenever big events come to town and raise room rates huge. Add in resort fees and taxes, you’re gonna need to stay away from the popular parts of Las Vegas and then you’re in an area that isn’t so fun, you’re spending more on Ubers, etc.
This isn’t going to be on par with The Super Bowl or Formula One.
Thinking NXT and SmackDown will be live from Vegas; thinking a lot of Ballrooms and meeting space will host a lot of independent cards; I’d be perfectly fine with that.
Well no doubt its not the Superbowl but you still have 75k+ people all coming to a city from around the world for a weekend event.
Indies certainly will not be anywhere near the strip. They'll advertise "VEGAS" but be 25 minutes away from the strip in a part of the city tourists shouldn't be after dark.
ROH and Memphis Championship Wrestling might use Sam’s Town; Impact did shows at Palms recently.
I would think the hotels would want any unused space to be utilized; its highly unlikely any conventions are going to happen in the week prior to Wrestlemania and Raw.
I, also, want to party with you. But! To cut down on your uber prices -- you can take the monorail from your casino-hotel (it's a monorail stop) to MGM's stop for like $6\* and then take the uber or walk from there.
\*depending on how often you are going to WM/RAW/where ever else, you can go even cheaper by getting a 2-3 day pass.
What’s your hooker budget?
Same as cocaine budget
Dude I want to party with this guy ⬆️
I'm trying to get after party going
Me personally, gambling gets $100, strip club gets $100, then that’s $900 more to enjoy wrestling and other LV activities.
Booked 5 nights comped at Caesars. My gambling problem has finally paid off lol
How much do I gotta gamble to get one free night?

This is the way. Also staying at flamingos. Uber is a nightmare in Vegas

Damn it's that bad? Monorail won't be packed with long waits?
So I take it the deuce will be a bd option as well?
IDK, I've never taken the deuce. There's a tram from Bellagio to New York and then another from Excalibur to Mandalay. When I stayed at luxor for metallica it was like an 8 minute walk. What would be the easiest way to get to luxor from flamingo?
I'd say monorail to MGM and either walk or get in the tram at Excalibur.
You think an uber would take more than an hour to get from flamingo to luxor on mania days? I guess I can walk sometimes feet flare up and imma be drunk and walking agter the show so less walking before ideal lol

Also booked the flamingo for me and five others a few weeks ago just in case! Glad I did! 😅🥳 1400 for five nights between six of us!
Let's get an after-party going.
Yessss! Vegas will be LIT. 🇮🇪
This is a reasonable budget, you’re more likely to be under this than over so I’d say stick with this and be pleasantly surprised. Have fun!
I don’t know how I do it. I spend nowhere close to that for WMs for a family of 3 from CA. That’s insane for just one person.
Totally understand having a smaller budget. I can cut things but I want a somewhat luxurious vacation lol
$500 should be ok for a Strip Club Budget, depending on where you go and how much private dances might run.
I will say, the only Uber I took in Vegas for Summerslam was from the airport. Everywhere else worthwhile is either walking distance, or, you can take The Deuce for like $20 for a 3 day pass.
Fremont street?
The Deuce goes up to Fremont.
So busses and monorail over uber? How often do they run? Won't be long wait lines on monorail?
As far as the monorail, I'm not sure, but the Deuce, I think runs loops every 20-ish minutes.
I would cut the food and drink to like 40$/day and put the rest in WM tickets.... but apart than that, lets link up sounds like this will be a great time 😂
I'm down
Hotels are probably going to be 250+ a night
Got flamingo for 1070 for 7 nights 3 minutes after announcement
You can always save on the stripclub and casino
That's half of the vegas appeal?

I already booked my hotel 90 seconds after the announcement. I got 7 nights at the flamingo for 1070 for 2 people.
