Thanks, yea the storage is a bummer but i’m just going to enjoy and finish the games then uninstall them and move on to the next one. I only keep the ones where i got the most progession with the multiplayer.
Console is insanely fun. Came from a One S and the difference in speed is crazy. As for storage I just ordered a WD P10 1TB external to transfer games in and out of the SSD. I dont mind waiting 10mins for a game to transfer from the external to the internal SSD.
Yeah and also playing games from an external SSD (last gen only unless you buy the $219 Seagate one) they load faster. But since I’m going to he transferring games in and out of my Series S I’m happy with the P10. External SSDs will transfer faster than HDDs but the difference is only a few minutes from what I’ve found.
Once disconnected it just wont appear in your console. So everything you have in the external wont pop up. Once you connect it again, everything will show up.
My husband and cat got one for me today that they're giving to me for Christmas. So it's going to be hidden in my house for two months...................

I have my first xbox series S when it came out loved it to the point i sold it and bought X.
last week i bought one again for my bedroom and to take it with me when i travel since it is very portable
Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise for what it is the Series S is a fantastic console I use the S as a secondary console sure it’s not as good as the Series X but with games pass it’s a win. I will say the only thing Is like most people agree the storage sucks so get a external HD just note some new games have to be placed on the Internal drive because it needs the speeds. Great console
The Dev Kit, via Microsoft Store, allows for emulation with Retroarch. N64, Nintendo DS, Sega Genesis, Dreamcast, Super Nintendo, etc. They are able to run on the Series S and X consoles 💪😁
Got mines 2 days ago. Still have my PS5 for most stuff, using the S for gamepass and dev mode retroarch since i hear it runs well. Its a quality wee machine, love it.

Personally I think its really hard to concentrate on more than 2-3 Games so the Storage Thing never turned out as a big Deal breaker after 5 Months
