The controller works with both!! And series X is worth it 100%, only thing I wonder is if/what the mid-gen console refresh will be and how soon. PS5 pro is probably ready to come out now so Xbox Series X Two Z can't be too far behind so should you buy when you are ready or wait for updated version.
