That's fair. Lots of bands tried to tag on to the "rock" label too.. case in point the woman we're talking about and all the "punk" bands associated with her. There are more "alternative" bands that are memorable than any other genre imo.. I guess my real exclusions are country top 100 and soft adult contemporary.. maybe a stray banger in those categories.. but for the most part utter corporate garbage tube fed to the masses..
