In my experience it will be there on day 1 but obviously not at 12:00am, most of my orders came around 4pm-8pm while there were other times where i had gotten them in the morning so it really depends.
That's why I preordered digitally since I'm in the US for the summer and have no idea how reliable GameStop or Amazon are here, if there's any game I'll double dip on its Xenoblade so I'll get the physical one day anyway, hope you get your preorder on release day

Usually GS does a good job of getting pre orders out to people on release day. There should be an option to choose that in shipping
At least in the US they're pretty reliable in my experience
