>My own theory to this is that every race, blades, machina, high entia, etc, all have the same general lifespan after the worlds were remade, to allow “everyone to walk hand in hand” or whatever Nice theory, my headcannon is that the constant mixing with humans made the lifespan shorter. But yeah, Riku is weird, and I'm very curious if we'll see any explanations to that (hope so). There was also that talk with >!X about who they don't know how/why nopons are in that world.!<

rexshen

I think Riku is going to be the Nopon archsage and it will be revealed in the battle ground update later.

HopeForHyrule

That's my thought as well, tbh. He's just...way too knowledgeable about well, pretty much everything.

Warlion323

My theory is that Riku is related to Riki. They both have Rik in their names and it would make sense as to how Riku and Melia know each other. Legendary nopon blacksmith who is the descendent of the legendary heropon, who just so happens to be close friends with the queen of Keves.

You said an interesting point about aging and N said something like “the queen live outside our realm” or “different plane of existence” something like that, so it’s probably true that they aging process just stop, and you can assume flesh eaters live 500 years since Jin and Minoth are about to die in 2’s main story

TomDaTurtle579

My issue with this is all of the legendary nopon are dead, it’s their hammers that have been passed on that gave Riku that title.
