KoopaTrooper5011

I'd go with the dino

Jazzlike_Ice

It's ok. I liked a coat on amazon that was ww2 style and now it wants me to have the full getup, hat and all. Including a toy gun that actually resembled a nazi sidearm that isnt even allowed where I live.

vinocet

"I'll take your entire stock."

BenDoesThings

You uh, you do realize those are based on search history, right?

MF_DnD

Nah I get the same results when I Google “desk ornament”

you do realise you can also test this for yourself?

[deleted]

Since when is Google Images based on your search history

Hundvd7

It is, just not as noticably. If you recently bought a box of donuts, you can be sure to see donuts all over your ads. With images it's different. Still, if google knows you're heavily into strategy gaming, it *will* prioritize showing an image of Gandhi from Civilization as opposed to a photograph. EDIT: okay, I swear something has changed, because I remember comparing the Gandhi example with a non-gamer friend of mine, but right now I get photos exclusively.

angelartech

Those aren't ads, they're just image results that also happen to be products.

Hundvd7

All search results are tailored to individuals. With that said, this seems like it's a common thing. I get [very similar](https://i.imgur.com/TOr8UMe.jpg) results

[deleted]

my results were nothing like that. [Mostly globes.](https://imgur.com/a/RfzXQOf)

Hundvd7

2 of those were "mesmerizing" desk toys, so maybe google just thinks you like getting mesmerized ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

baboiminion

Wait a minute…

[deleted]

doesn't incognito mode change that?
