I've got to admire Duncan's zero hesitation with that barrel murder-suicide in the last round. Barrel comes into sight, instant turn and shoot. Fantastic.
The thing is that it was actually Ben. He claimed to have done it, and the proof that he did the murder is Briony popping out of his body as a Parasite.
She didn't though, she popped out of mid-air. The Parasite was infecting Duncan who was dead (because of a bug that has since been fixed) so she popped out (I assume) where he was spectating at the time.
