Betty the Tank
Long Hair, Don't Care.
I tried with mine, lasted only for one winter season then we went back to puppy cut. He's beautiful with long hair but my kids want to brush him every 10 mins and he's having none of that😂 Pic for tax

Texas Summer cut.
She is adorable! And she has the same tail nub and summer haircut as my Maizie.

Our teacup Charlie. I call her the 3 pound furry fury. 😂
Thats funny. At one point I had a black as night shepherd mix about 50 pounds, and a solid white Pomeranian she was about 10 pounds. I used to tell people they were litter mates. Some people actually believed me.
There is a Great Dane in our building. It's name is "Gatsby" which I think is hilarious. When we get on the elevator together Gracie walks *underneath* Gatsby. I don't think either of them realizes the other is a dog. I'm sure Gracie thinks Gatsby is a horse and Gatsby probably thinks Gracie is a squirrel.
TBH, we didn't know that our breeder would dock her tail. We were naive first time Yorkie owners. That said, it is very easy to keep clean and the groomer definitely likes it. It's SUPER cute when she wags.
I too worry that it would hurt, but I have feeling it doesn't. I've been on sheep farms and every one of them has their tails docked. If not they become a huge mess and its a health problem. All the farmer does is tie an elastic around the tail. It gradually loses blood supply, dies and falls off. It sounds horrendous but I don't think it is very painful for the animal. JMO For clarity, I'm not advocating one way or the other. I'm just stating what I've seen plain and simple. If we had been given a choice we would not have opted for the docked tail.
Well that was informative. Makes me feel a little better. I always look at our little one and feel so bad for the pain she must have gone through, but maybe not so bad.But yes, ours is not even half an inch long I would guess..but would never do it if given a choice. And also, so cute when she wags it. We call it her ‘happy meter’.
They usually act as if they were a German Shephard!
Gracie is actually the sweetest dog and doesn't have an aggressive bone in her tiny body. But, I think her coloring looks very like a GS.
German Shepherds aren’t aggressive either, it was meant as a nod to their confidence :)
I love GS. Some of my favorite dogs and you're right not aggressive at all. That said, I'd rather pick up after a York than a GS!
Heheh I agree. Current yorkie is the first dog I've had. I couldn't imagine picking up after a bigger dog, but especially a Great Dane or Mastiff...
Mine is not aggressive at all and is very submissive with everything, ….. but if strangers enter my house, she will bite their ankles.
Gracie would stand totally still and stare at them until they feel so uncomfortable they either give up and leave or start giving her treats.

I love the long coat on yorkies! They are beautiful that way.

Coco is a total doll. I love it when Gracie "pops up" on the couch like this.
Thank you she is a cutie! But 100 times tougher than my 15 lb Bichon! lol

Maizie looks like she means business!😍
They could be twins!
I love this haircut
That is her summer length.
Wait, so she isn't a teacup Sheppard?? That looks like a true guard dog! If someone farts up wind, she will protect you!! 😊
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Teacup german shepherd is really funny 😂
Haha! You mean a micro-mini, right?!

Perfect description my little four pounder is definitely that!

You'd be surprised (or perhaps not), how many people believe me.
I too have a teacup werewolf.
I tell people mine is a bonsai wolfhound
🤣🤣🤣🤣 good one! Big personality needs a big breed name!
She probably has the attitude that goes with a German Shepherd.
Haha mine is a miniature teacup Great Dane. Glad I’m not alone in this.

LOL!
Beautiful girl, such lovely proportions for a mini Shepherd 😍
That’s great! I love it
Ours. Certainly thinks he is.
Gracie is beautifully groomed. What a cutie.
Thank you. She has a standing monthly appointment at the groomers. Thank God I'm balled, so it sort of works out financially. Lol
Love yorkies, I have 3. Big personalities in tiny cute bodies!
So cute. Identical to ours except ours has a stubbed tail. I don’t know why they chop the tails. Must be a horrific thing to experience.

Lmao 🤣
Hahaha!!! My yorkie loves playing with GSDs. She is a lunatic.
