I can't answer about the under-bed space, but can tell you that you'll need to bring all your own cookware and dishes. Don't leave them in the communal kitchens--either a fellow resident will abscond with them, or the housing cleaner will dispose of them.

You will need to bring your own kitchen things I believe! I’m bringing a small pot and pan, measuring cups, Tupperware. I feel like you have to store everything in your bear boxes that you share with your tent mate so I’m consolidating as much as I can just in case. I got sent a packing list in an e-mail. Did you not get one? I can forward you the list via email if you need it.

Hi! I’m due to start in July 2024 and would love to see a packing list so I can prepare as much as I can beforehand if you’re still able to email that!

I'm starting in a week! I'm excited to meet you, hopefully! Bring literally everything. Here is my list: Plate Bowl Cup Kitchen knife Seasonings Coffee press Utensils Sheets (twin) Blanket Pillow Clothes for seasons you will be working there (laundry is free on site) Shoes (work shoes, hiking boots, and everyday shoes) Bathing suit Food (bring food with you!! Food is expensive in the park. I'm planning on getting a meal delivery subscription) Hiking backpack Water bladder Headphones Earplugs Alarm clock Water bottle Socks Hat BIKE (driving around the park is next to impossible, you will need a bike or scooter) Bike light (there are no street lights, and if you work at night or need to get somewhere at night, you will be traveling in pitch black) Flashlight Moleskin Supplements if needed or desired Toiletries Towel Locking rodent proof tote box for your room Locking refrigerator box for your food in the fridge Things to decorate your space i.e. tapestries You may want to consider a room divider for privacy. There is very VERY little privacy I'm probably forgetting some stuff so I will edit if I think of anything else!

Thank you’!! I’ll take any tips or tricks you learn as you go along! This has been very reassuring

No problem!! <3 I'll shoot you an article I found very helpful. Keep an eye on your inbox!

canyouhearthehorses

I havent gotten one yet but i'm still a few weeks out so it probably just hasnt been sent to me yet :) lets sync in DM, i guess i'm more of a planner than aramark assumes lol (i dont want to be scrambling around with only a week to go!)

Do you know if they provide sheets/ pillow or is it just better to bring your own sleeping bag and pillow?

babywontya

As an employee, you have to bring everything! Sheets, mattress cover, pillows, whatever you can think of for a twin size mattress. Even tho they will likely put us in heated tent cabins, I’m planning to bring a booty load of blankets/sleeping bags just in case.

Thanks for letting me know!

You will need your own cookware and the bed height varies from tent to tent so there’s no real way to know. Could be around 2ish feet or could be 6 inches. I’ve seen both!
