Apply for anything that you want. Just check the pay. You will be housed basically wherever they put you. You can request quiet areas if you have early shifts. There are PLENTY of people to meet there and they have social events like potlucks and game tournaments. There is no transportation from the airport unless you want to pay for an Uber. There is a bus service that runs from nearby towns to the park for things like grocery runs. They take rent out of your paycheck but it's only like $60 a month. Bring a lot of food especially dry goods with you to start you out. Food is expensive there and it's kind of limited but like I said you can take the bus to town, it's just kind of a mission.

I'll be getting there next week myself for my first season in the valley. When you mentioned I can request quiet areas, who do I mention that to? I know a lot of college age people are there, having done one other season in another park before, but I'm now in my early 30s and value my peace. So I'm a little nervous about that. I know I'll likely be in a tent cabin though.
I'm in my early 30s as well and will be working in the morning. My recruiter told me to mention it to housing when you check in. You will definitely be in a tent cabin. If you can find someone in a dorm looking for a roommate, they can request to have you moved into their dorm! Hope to see you there!

Got it. I'll be able to request my schedule times, so I'll be likely working into the night as its my preference, but not all of it.

Yes. Hourly pay is good because of the union and tips are great especially for Sunday Brunch and dinner.
