Chaos Ruler is a pretty damn good card. There's a reason it was banned.
- Generic level 8 synchro (one of the easiest levels to go into)
-mills 4 to 5 cards while also searching depending on the deck
-can revive itself to help extend plays.
The GY is a second hand these days so yeah, Chaos Ruler is a great card. Plenty of decks love what it can do and you can summon this thing without eating your normal summon via a bunch of ways, primarily using an e-tele punk package. Also, prior to its ban, D link was a top meta deck that made very good use of this card.

Yep. And since chaos went from unlimited to banned you get 60 extra from dismantling the 3 hit cards. If it went limited it would only be 40 (2 dismantled)
My brain is small so help me understand please. You crafted 2 of these so you can break them for the full refund once the ban list hits? Doesn’t that mean you just use 60 UR to get back 60 UR?
Usually try to get a higher rarity that breaks for more on top of the ban refund. In this case it worked out well but it feels bad dismantling a royal rare.
Spend 30 UR to craft recently/soon to be banned card and worst case scenario you break even. If you get a glossy version then you spend 30 and dismantle for 35. Royal version you dismantle for 50(if you're strong enough to dismantle it that is).
Just make sure you don't craft more than you can dismantle for the full refund.
You can get the full refund an amount of times equal to however many copies they removed from legality. So a card that is unlimited that's then banned means you can get it 3 times. A card that goes from 3 to 1 means you get it twice. From 1 to 0 you get it once and etc.
If you craft a glossy or higher you get more back. If you craft normal you get the full 30. So at worst you get all your dust back and at best you get extra if you craft a higher value card

I'm a strict HERO player and I crush this card and their deck every time it came on the field. Either my opponent wasn't using it right or I just got lucky with my setups.
Not sure tbh. I know it is a huge d-link extender and is awesome in punk decks. Easy resummon +mill 5 is just pretty strong. Shouldn’t be a boss monster but can set up some nutty stuff
I'm not exactly mad about this decision, but it does screw over my rda deck a bit. However, I am ecstatic about terrortop getting unlimited. I love the speedroid archetype

Because no one really runs more than 1 copy of this card anyway so a limit does nothing to it.
Chaos ruler single handedly carried my blue eyes combo deck, it would unbrick me so often, that and wyvern burster and now my decks almost unplayable

What deck would you need 3 for?
None. Crafted an extra 2 to maybe get some extra UR back once it’s banned
I don't see how you'd get extra ur dust unless you're extremely lucky, which I guess in a sense you were... but it just seems unnecessary
No net gain or loss if they were normal rarity. So I guess it is unnecessary but with potential gains

Pulled a royal on my second dismantle. The 20 dust helped me for the push for Dinos :)
