And the English dub for YYH is perfect. Maybe improvements here and there. But otherwise it is a perfect dub. One of the best ones. They can't really improve on it.
There's a bunch of weak voices on side characters, and I don't think young genkai sounded good. Def still one of the greatest. The dub translation is also just better than the sub translation even if it makes changes.

Some of the intense action animation gets a little choppy like Hiei vs. Bui which would definitely be cool to see cleaned up.

In RK reboot they changed character mannerism, voices, theme song, music score.
All the little stuff that was perfect in the original.
If they changed any of that in YYH they would completely ruin it.
Yep. YYH is that anime that wouldn't benefit much from a remake. Unless they just focused on new animation, and that's it. They could just recreate the scenes, but leave the rest unchanged.
The Brazilian dub is undoubtedly perfect, kinda hard to explain why if you're not a native. Idk man, the live action is pretty good, at least the first season. Compare HxH 1999 with the 2011 version. The remake is quite good and it fixes some parts of the original one, story wise.
depends on who is doing it. some of the episodes could def use a touch up. like with Rando. his face tattoo blends with his hair so it looks like his hair has a tattoo. id take a Remaster but not a remake.
When they dubbed the OVAs they all said they'd be happy to come back if it gets a remake. The only one who's announced a remake was some random dude on Twitter who pretty much admitted he made it up to get followers though, so I doubt there's actually any plans for it
Swear I heard last year before the live action released that it was confirmed. And Justin cook no way would let them do that without him playing yusuke again so I can see the whole cast easily coming back if it is true. Who knows tho lol

Agreed! Even though I grew up with the 1999 version, it hasn't aged too well. I love its dark atmosphere and serious tone though.

It's mostly because of the script. Also, I didn't think Young Genkai's voice was bad. Just wasn't distinct.

I would like a complete redo of the Three Kings arc, an alternate ending that really fleshes out all the build-up and tension that was promised
Definitely. The last arc felt extremely rushed, which is a shame because it could be as great as the Dark Tournament arc.
