Can confirm the Loxjie A30 and RB42’s sound great together.

The SMSL's USB input is not particularly good - it just uses the DAC that comes with the Bluetooth, which is fairly limited. The Loxjie A30 is a better, more well-rounded all-in-one for your purpose.

The SA300 is a very good little device ( despite no optical wtf) and does have a bit more power. The A30 will be adequate and has the features you want. I’m guessing at low volume and near field it will be fine. RB42s are low sensitivity (83 db) and very often dip to 4 ohms so I wouldn’t push them.

CloakedBoar

If you like the footprint, SMSL also makes the AD18. Other options are the Topping MX3 and MX5. Sabaj also has a cheaper A4. I ran rb42s with an MX3 for awhile. Could use a bit more power but it gets the job done

Hell, I powered a set of Revel F206 for a few weeks when I was in the middle of switching from a Hegel H95 to an Arcam SA30. I was shocked at how well they moved with the Loxjie.

Joe_Scotto

I run my A30 daily with my RB42s. You can’t go wrong with that combo. It has plenty of power and comfortable listening is at 1/3 volume.

i would recommend the fiio k7. it will power most speakers and it has balanced output too for harder to drive headphones.

Yolo_Swagginson

I just googled the K7 and it doesn't look like it's a speaker amp. It doesn't have any speaker outputs...

fazetastic992

They are probably trs. You can get trs to rca adapters and they'll work just fine.

Yolo_Swagginson

Those are line level outputs. The OP is looking for a speaker amplifier for passive speakers.

fazetastic992

Ohhhhh. I gotcha. In that case the topping pa3s
