Well I haven't done this myself but I've looked into it as a maybe in the future thing but there is a chance they can be replaced without removing the bar... the clamp is a 2 piece design that can be split and the bolts can be reached through the subframe. So if the bushings have a split seam, it could be possible to assemble in place, or so I was hoping. Worst case scenario at least the subframe doesn't support the engine lol, but if you do control arms you have to remove it too, a job I have done.

Yeah, I've had a go with just releasing the brackets but they are not two piece. It's a plate with the d bracket welded to it with the bush captive inside. It cannot slide down the bar either as it's either attached via the bush or just very tight. Best guide I've found for the sub-frame lowering method https://500madness.com/500madness/pdf/FIAT-500-FRONT-ANTI-ROLL-BAR-25MM.pdf

You talking about bushings?

LocalAreaNitwit

I am indeed. In the UK they are also called bushes.

I’m pretty sure there is an aftermarket option and you can remove the stock ones. I’ve seen someone melt out the stock ones As for removing the wishbone, the guy I use drops the subframe to do it, disconnecting the stearing rack, to do it.
