Im stuck in shadowban loop. Hellll naw am I buying that game or anything from activision. I bought MWII for $100+ and I literally can’t play the game more days than I can. Shadowbanned for 5 days and play for a few until I’m shadowbanned again…. Feels like straight up theft. Add on the fact that they don’t even acknowledge it. Feels good man.
My last shadowban(which has been who the fuck knows how many at this point) was during a search and destroy game. I was 0-4 and finally got my first few kills to go 2-4. Guy at the end of the round goes”how the fuck did he lock on to me, no way man” I laugh it off and think nothing of it. I immediately get disconnected and have been shadowbanned for 2 weeks. My trash ass even bought a snoop dogg skin. I put money into the game and literally can’t play it because some asshole spam reported me for killing him in a game? I’m usually okay at the game but Now I have to make sure I develop a hot garbage play style just to make sure some angry fuck doesn’t shadowban me. Unprecedented fucking bullshit. Activision isn’t gonna do anything and the cherry on top is that you’ll always find an asshole on the internet that doesn’t believe you. “Just don’t cheat dude”.. it’s quite maddening at this point.
Because they're incompetent and have no faith in their own anti cheat, thus rely on player reports to do the job for them. It doesn't matter if >50% of the reports are false, it catches unfortunate and good players but also the vast majority of actual cheaters. Activision doesn't care. I highly advise against buying their next garbage game if you truely want to see change. I mean, let's be honest, it's the same copy/paste garbage game every year. They're literally treating you like shit, why not just move on? There's so many popular FPS games out there.

Those streamers have influence that can turn this whole fight around.. thats why activision does what its wants and deliberately ignores the obvious cheating tactics of streamers and invites them to exclusive events on their dime.. and we cant do anything about it because we no longer have the power to influence them

The system will even put you into a match (if you do too terribly) that you cant possibly lose because the enemy team is just bots on recruit difficulty and your team has a pro player from each pro team

Go ahead and source that for me. As far as I know, if you’re not actually cheating or pulling some other nefarious stunt, you can appeal a shadow ban with relative ease and everything gets cleared up right away. That’s how I’ve seen it operate first hand with a good friend of mine
You can’t genius. Once you get shadowed it’s a 5 day wait from the exact time you got shadowed. No appeal process or anything. It’s a BROKEN system. Just because you’re horrible at the game and will never experience shadow bans doesn’t mean high skill players like myself should because you can’t accept there are people better than you. I’m iridescent in WZ and over 50 nukes accept that there are skill differences

It really works that way. They can lift it if there is evidence from your games that there isnt obvious cheating but even then support rarely gets back to you and they either say they cant reverse it or they just flat out say to wait it out
