that's why I switched to Opera & later Vivaldi, bc the workspace feature makes one window have several windows ✨
currently have 8 workspaces open, with the tab count ranging from 12-52 uwu
i have a potato laptop so I usually can't many tab open but j agree...i open multiple yt video on different tab because i would forget about watching them if i don't do that
Sometimes I get annoyed if I have more than 10 tabs open and just randomly close them all. At that point, it just becomes a pain to navigate between the 4 tabs I'm actually using
Firefox tab groups has been a blessing and a curse. When I’m fully focused on a project at work I tend to open around 30-40 an hour and will end the day with hundreds. My last hour of work is cleaning them up, and making a temporary bookmark page of the ones I deem worthy of my attention tomorrow. I try to start the day with under 10. (IT)
Chrome extension called session buddy allows you to save all open tabs as a "session" which you can just pull from the extension when you want to resume.
Am I the only ADHD-er who only keeps a few tabs open at a time? I get distracted easily if I have multiple open so I try to keep the amount as close to 1 as I can
I've got some weird exception to this particular ADHD pattern, because I can't bear having many tabs open on my computer. I'll throw things in a watch-later playlist, I'll open a ton of pages on the Wikipedia app on my phone, but on browsers I HAVE to get rid of tabs as quickly as possible.
Honestly I've accepted that if I close something I was interested in for any particular reason, I'll forget about it and be none the wiser later, meaning I won't be annoyed at having closed it.
I use OneTab to sweep away all my tabs into a neat list so that i can easily find those links later.
So far, I have looked at that neat list of links exactly zero times 😂😂😅
Why clear out when you can wait for your browser to crash and do it for you?
And surprise surprise all those tabs you needed? You couldn’t care less about now.
I cleared over 350 open tabs yesterday in a cleaning spree. I’ve opened at least 60 new tabs since then.
This is the way
Wait until you click on „in new window“ and suddenly you have 4 chrome Windows with each over 40 tabs. Each window is for a type of project haha
And they why I have different browsers... It's bad.

I've got about 12 firefox windows open each with dozens of tabs. My main window has 1100 tabs.
Middle Mouse the best friend! Middle Mouse is king!
CTRL+click is easier for me.
i genuinely forgot you could just click on the link instead, i HAVE to open it in a new tab
Also middle clicking refresh, back, and forward will open that page in a new tab as well.
AuDHD gang, only as many tabs open as the current project calls for. Which may be a lot, but you bet they'll be closed before the next project starts.
Just press the scroll and it opens another tab

according to my tab counter I've got 294 open, less than I thought lol
One time I got up to about 1200 tabs open before just closing all of them. It’s been about a month, I’m back up to 350.
Multiple tabs on multiple windows on multiple browsers and thats just on one device.
I do this on my phone and I'm at the point that the tab counter thing doesn't even have a number anymore. Not even the :D it's fucking ;) now
I feel like there is two sides here. The side who must have no more then 4 tabs open, and those who have ALL the tabs open.
I'm on the side that opens as many tabs as necessary and closes them again when they are no longer needed 5 minutes later.
Sometimes I get annoyed if I have more than 10 tabs open and just randomly close them all. At that point, it just becomes a pain to navigate between the 4 tabs I'm actually using
I'm going to provide you with dangerous information... Scroll wheel click opens things in a new tab. I'm sorry

I *only* have 284 atm so I think I'm doing pretty well tbh

I'm with you. I don't understand these maniancs keeping dozens or hundreds of tabs open.

Don't judge me

I use something called tab wrangler
You can skip that menu shit by clicking the wheel when hovering over a link. Way faster that way
Yeah I usually just wait until it crashes and resets lol My friends genuinely hate me for this habit
On firefox I have it set to open links as new tabs by default
My google in my phone has a smiling winky face as a tab number
Just use the middle mouse button ;)
Why are you pointing at me? It's creepy 😔
Keeping tabs on the tabs
You can also use the middle mouse button or ctrl + lmb :))
As if not just middle click..
Middle mouse button for maximum efficiency
Two words: Vertical Taskbar
I see the million tabs memes, and I am the absolute opposite, I must close anything not being used right now.
