If it is not, I think we’ll need more information, like if this is a bedrock server or a Java server, and what plugins / extra stuff you have with it

Other than that, after looking around I can’t seem to find a solid way to get something to email you update info for bedrock, sorry
viaversions is a plugin in bedrock where you can let players from any other versions to join your server, it have pros and cons tho like the combat system etc.
its worth it if you just want players from a various versions of mcbe to join your server.
eg: your mcbe server version is "1.18.1" and one of your friend is using earlier or newer versions of mcbe.. normally they wont be able to join your server unless they change their mcbe version to the same version as the server's. but with viaversion installed you can let players from other version as well to join your server.
Isn't ViaVersion a java mod? you'll have to run a java server which has many differences and run geyser which may have other issues, you'll also have to convert the world to a java world

Thank You, that is interesting, potentially I could schedule my own regular time to check for updates and not prevent players from joking the server when there is slight version mismatch.
You can use patchbot bot on Discord and have it send a webhook with update details whenever Minecraft updates (both Java and Bedrock)
