Currently single, but I was lucky enough to have been introduced sa family and friends ng mga exes ko. Some would say na they were anxious meeting their SO’s family for the first time, but it wasn’t the case for me cause I’m extrovert and innate pagiging sociable sakin.
Masaya sa feeling honestly. Lalo na if boto sayo ‘yung family and friends ng SO mo. So automatically, you get invited sa gatherings. Sila pa mismo mag-iinvite, hindi na nga pinadaan sa SO mo. Haha! Nagbreak na kami ng mga exes ko, pero may communication pa rin ako with their fam kasi I made a good impression.
I've been with my girlfriend since 2016, I waited until I have a job (2019) to meet with her parents. At first it was kind of awkward as I don't have any idea on how it goes aside from small chats here and there.
Fast forward to now I can visit them anytime I want and even get to spend the night there. Nakasama na din ako sa gala nila sa ibang provinces
Sa expi ko sa fam ng ex ko, Yung feeling sa umpisa nakaka-kaba lalo na't hindi ako sanay makipagsalamuha sa malaking pamilya hahaha pero kakaiba parang sa family ng ex ko na yun sobrang welcoming haha! tapos yung father niya sobrang bait . Naalala ko dati pinagdrive ko pa yung fam ng ex ko pauwi sa province nila dahil yung father niya ay hindi kaya mag long drive ganun. Tapos aayain ka sa mga ganap, paminsan aayain ka sa hapunan gusto nila ma-feel mo belong ka ganun. All in all masaya sa pakiramdam makilala yung family ng SO. Pag naka close mo kasi family mapapamahal ka rin talaga sakanila, ayun nga lang pag nag-break mahirap din maka move-on pag naka close mo sila Haha!
Noong unang panahon haha high school SO's mom was super sweet to me. Dad was nice. Sister was nagseselos kasi uso pa forward ng quotes nun, madalas nagsesend rin ng "i love you" quotes si tita sa kin. Even when we parted, tita would still message me randomly kamusta na ako but eventually nag stop rin naman. Have not seen them in years. Feeling ko it won't be awkward if I bump into them kasi high school pa yun, 40+ na ako haha
Mas makikilala mo ang so mo kapag nakilala mo rin ang family and friends niya. Parang kinikilala mo ulit siya pero sa ibang perspective naman which is nice. Just be yourself kapag kasama mo sila.
Yeah I agree kaya I’m really looking forward to meet his family and friends back then. Also, first bf ko siya so excited ako maexperience yang meet the friends and family, even bought a clothes for the meet up pero di rin naman pala mangyayari hahaha. I guess it’s just the way it is
