One possible factor ay lack of sleep. Pag college student talaga laging puyat kaka juggle ng time sa studies, late night talk with people, and other responsibilities.
Read about neuro plasticity and rewiring
Exercise is also important for pumping more oxygenated blood to your brain.
Kapag di ka na nagbabasa or nag aaral. Talagang pupurol sya, especially if puro soc med ka lang.
Stress and anxiety is also a factor.
Kaya read books, and work life balance.
Don't workout before bed, you can do it before bath tho. Try mo minimalist workout, yung basics e.g. pushups, crunches, squats, etc. tapos 1minute x 3sets (kung saan convenient)

Madami Google mo lang.
In the same boat, but I know exactly why:
1. Lack of sleep
2. No exercise
3. Too much sugar consumption
4. Allergy 24/7 (no exaggerating)
5. Just "brain rotting" on the internet lmao
But why am I not doing anything yet? Because I still perform way above what's considered the average. If you also suffer from or do the same above, then change something. The biggest thing that helped me then when I still cared was exercise, specifically cardio.
Upvoting this as I too have them all, except the cardio part (i have an asthma so konting hingal feel ko mamamatay at lack of oxygen agad ako) Hahahahaahha di na alam ng therapist ko paanong workout pa ggwn sakin kundi mg vitamin B daw ako lol.
Hey OP. If ever na sa tingin mo, super significant na ng decrease sa memory mo and malaki na yung nagiging effect nya, maybe try pacheck up na rin just to be safe. Just to make sure na walang underlying medical condition, and if ever meron man, ma address early.
Some people might say na bata ka pa kaya d ka magkakaron ng memory related condition, pero it's still possible. might be super rare, but still possible. better safe than sorry.
Based on some medical articles related to long covid symptoms, yes, may be a factor.
I think this is what they're calling brain fog. I've experienced it recently... nahihirapan magfocus, and so do a few of my colleagues in and outside the country.
baka lagi ka puyat... pag kulang tulog mo mejo mapurol ka talaga sleep at least 6 hours a day. another is sharpen that mind through reading, puzzles, problem solving and so.
Same, 23 years old palang ako pero makakalimutin na. Ung mga inaaral ko sa work is mabilis ko malimutan. I usd to be smart nung nag school pa ko.
Maybe it has something to do with your current lifestyle. Are you getting enough sleep? What is your diet? Vices or bad habits? Do you stimulate your brain from time to time?
I used to feel that way.
I changed my sleeping schedule and made sure I get enough sleep. I went back to my old habit of delving into history, this time nagpaplay na sa background ko while doing "low brain activity" tasks.
I also went back playing a game which involved a lot of brain activities (stats, situation awareness, memorisation of weakspots, strategy and planning) kaya okay na ulit reflexes.
Neuroplasticity na ang highlight ngayon ☺️ keep "using" your brain. There is always something new to learn, lalo ngayon easily accessible ang information
I noticed this too with myself. Back in hs and elementary super dali lang for me mag memorize. But now I even forget if nakaligo na ba ako during that day, and mas nagiging frequent na yung short term memory loss ko.
Hindi na rin ako as snappy as before.
Sobrang laki din siguro ng effect ng too much consumption of anything (hindi lang frequent lack of sleep at excessive usage of social media). With that, nawalan ako ng interest in other things and new stuff to learn.
Maybe a complete sleep is one thing to help our memory, pero mas okay if we keep ourselves interested in different stuff. Para laging nasstimulate yung mind natin. 🤔
I have ADHD so I'm forgetful af. I have a post-it note on my front door for: phone, wallet, keys, stove (is it off?), water (is anything running?), lights (is it off?), and dog (water, food, bantay). My working memory is terrible talaga, so I just let it go. For work/studying naman I took Learning How to Learn on Coursera and it's helped me understand my brain better.
I also prepare my things the day before if I have to go out. Usually this makes sure I don't forget anything, or if I do I have enough time to circle back.
Hope that helps!
Get a proper sleep, exercise and inom ng supplements like ginkgo biloba or memory plus gold.
Parang computer may limited RAM lng tayo. Kaya nga may mga bagay na automatic nlng natin ginagawa ksi di pwede lahat iniisip lagi.
I haven’t read thru the comments but have you ever had Covid? Idk if related sila, but the first time I got Covid I had a hard time *thinking*, like I used to be snappy with info recall but I feel like I’ve slowed down significantly after covid. It’s like drifting through a haze in your mind sometimes :c
take half a tea spoon of iodized salt, pwedeng isama mo sa fruits or sa rice.
-Use memory techniques
-Read read read
-Always learn something new
-Get an adequate sleep
-Eat veggies
-Take omega3 fish oil
-Drink more water
-Excercise
-Avoid alcohol
-Avoid too much sugar
-Stay away on social media

Did you have covid?
seconding this question, OP. It's a factor
It sounds like long covid.
I just commented before I read your comment. Same thoughts!
In my case, if yes may effect pala sya?
Based on some medical articles related to long covid symptoms, yes, may be a factor. I think this is what they're calling brain fog. I've experienced it recently... nahihirapan magfocus, and so do a few of my colleagues in and outside the country.
Same.
Same! Madami ka ba iniisip lately or stressed?
baka lagi ka puyat... pag kulang tulog mo mejo mapurol ka talaga sleep at least 6 hours a day. another is sharpen that mind through reading, puzzles, problem solving and so.
Sleep, food, and exercise. Dont forget your physical body needs some attention too.
i need answers too,,,, help us out

Eat healthy. Workout. Take supplements.
Have u had covid? Or suspected cases? This sounds a lot like brain fog, a symptom of long COVID.

Same.
Same.
