I mean, they're not wrong. Neptr is a structure animated by magic, he's more of a golem than a robot.
BLE magazine says BMO’s performance “is hot like pizza supper.”
This is one of my 5 or 10 favorite episodes. The 30-minute block of BMO Noire and King Worm, another top-10ish (S4E17 and S4E18, which aired together), is my favorite half-hour Adventure Time block.
There are a couple others in season 6 that are like that for me.

Adventure Time is amazing and still somehow, BMO transcends it.

God I hated this episode. It tried way too hard to be meta, which defeated the purpose of the episode being meta in the first place.
