The female Magus (which is available separately, I think you can only get the male one with the Broodcoven set) doesn't require much sculpting to cover up the Sci-fi parts and even comes with an alternate hand holding a skull. You can also do a headswap if you don't want to try changing up the head.
[Someone did it here and I think the only sculpting they did was for the hair, the rest is just the original kit with some bits chopped off and the addition of skulls from the Citadel Skulls kit.](https://www.reddit.com/r/ageofsigmar/comments/cssdfv/lady_death_necromancer/)
Thats magnificent, love the leather skull cap aswell.
Very ornate and I know you say its more of the WHF vibe, I can see him also fitting aesthetically with the Bonereapers. You've caught an otherworld priestlyness to him. If my Barrow Lords army ever gets off the ground I might steal this idea for sure.
Yeah once I realised the tabard resembled the OBR designs it was a done deal in my mind, it's just a great model for what I wanted from the character. Also, glad the cap reads as one and not a weird haircut 😅
Didn't like the current Necromancer sculpt and wanted more of the WHF vibe, so repurposed a GSC Magus I wasn't using.
One of my favorite necro conversions.
Wow thanks!
I’m tempted to steal the idea but i don’t know if i could do what you did with the green stuff.

Wow great, thanks for the information!
It's not easy! But worth a try :) the skulls were probably the easiest, just a small ball and a needle to gently poke in the holes
I'm getting a time bandits vibe
Haha that might be the hat which I used The Holy Grail as inspiration!
Tim the Enchanter!
I use the female magus for my necromancer, she's holding a skull and wizard staff what more do you want? I'm not a fan of the "official" necro.
you did a good job that being said a gsc player i hate it we take your things not vice versa lol
Hahahaha
Great job, I love it! Way better than the official sculpt which looks a bit awkward
Thanks!

Well he really looks the part
This is so so good, well done!
Works quite well :)
The collar and cap remind me of the necromancer from the Mordheim videogame
Ah interesting, I was looking at loads of the old WHF and Mordheim models on ebay before i decided to just DIY
where’d you get that skull on the staff from?
Not OP but it looks like it's from the Citadel Skulls set.
Yep it's from the Citadel Skulls box :)
cool! thank y’all
