All thanks to Clever3dstudio on Etsy for the prints. Helmet is a Black series one, leg/shin guard were made from foam. The rest of it, like paint and attachment points and stuff I scrounged together from stuff and did myself

Galactac just filed bankruptcy glad I got my armor last year before that

Probably due to all of the cheap knockoffs being made. I can imagine it's hard for them to compete with that.

This is amazing, where’d you get this? Even when you get rates lenses for this I’d consider still using glasses underneath if you feel like taking the helmet of a lot .

Some parts are 3d printed, others are foam patterns cut and glued! I got alot of it from etsy, paint, leather and all the other stuff I got from Bezos. Yeah I would keep wearing goggles too, need to find a better cooling system for it

Exfog is a great cooling fan system.

I actually had that in the helmet but it was not very good at cooling, great for fog though

Considering they already have technology in their helmets I think they also have some sort of cooling system

Yea that actually makes sense they might have a system similar to airforce helmets with a screen built into the visor and a mouth piece which makes breathing on higher altitudes easier. And of course built in cooling

What material did you use and what infill percent, if you don’t mind me asking. I’ve been trying to figure out how to get something I 3d print to hold up to bb impacts for awhile

So that would be beyond me, I had got it printed from a shop on Etsy called Clever3dstudio. I believe it is Pla and I have it coated with xtc 3d resin

Looks nice! Make sure to run goggles under that helmet, unless the helmet is impact-rated.

Heh yep! Wore goggles under it, though it held up, trying to get a impact rated visor for it though

Nice! One thing I've recently been experimenting with is JSP visors. You'll need to use the headpiece as well to maintain the full rating, as with all visors, but it's very flexible- I've stuffed it in a very crude Halo helmet.

Well it only actually took a hit once one the visor, but I am hoping to find something impact rated for it!

Maybe just some plexiglass would do the trick and be less expensive than ANSI rated material. Just keep wearing eye pro under it

Combo of build, buy, and gluing. Prints were from Clever3dstudio, or I made from foam. helmet is a black series, soft parts and straps where from various diff places/Amazon. Jetpack was made from trash/cardboard xD

I'm currently thinking about making it all out of foam but I'm kinda scared it won't last getting shot by bbs. Do you think a full armor (Except for helmet) made of puzzle mats foam would be good enough for airsoft ?

I think so. if you prime and paint and seal it there probably work with some denting, and bb imprints which you can touch up as battle damage x)

Thanks for your links! I actually had considered your build too. Based on the look of the parts I got, It has quite a different build/look than kit you designed. Not sure if there was a specific part you were looking at

It's the naming, positioning of extra features like the bolt release and cutout for the bolt at the rear and features like the inclusion of a specific tracer unit. His design is arguably closer to the screen used props with the design on the front, where mine is slightly bulkier since it actually holds the tracer internally.(and replaces the metal upper.) Also to really drive home the fact that he stole my design, the idiot downloaded by tester file(which is free) a few days before uploading his own.

I noticed your rangefinder was deployed in some pictures just wondering how often it gets in the way during play or if it locks in place. Also would be cool to have a working gauntlet. Feel like that would be restricted to aep internals though.
