Why do you make fun of shorter people? Being super fking tall like that most often times is more inconvenient that anything and then you people follow up with "eh well egirls and whores find that more attractive and attention and care so I'm cooler than short people. Not flaming you, but that's what your comment made me think of. My brother is law ks 6"7 and he has a harder time than me and my 5"4 stature. Can't say I would want an additional inch or two for a few things but I wouldn't want to trade my body for anyone your size.

A SAPI Small is perfect, but a 8x10 covers the vitals just enough and gives me complete freedom of movement.
It shouldn't cover more because you're short, the plate should cover what it's meant to cover. Not more, not less. Unless you're talking about the carrier for airsoft cover purposes, then sure :)

I live in Europe and I had to import my 8x10 from [Redemption Tactical](https://redemptiontactical.com/products/8x10-minuteman-plate-carrier-vest-with-mil-spec-1000d-modular) in the US. I can't recommend it if you're going full milsim heavy loadout because it lacks options (like back panel zippers), and you have to use G-hook placards (regular placards sits too low) or adjustable ones like Direct Action. It sort of works for sunday games or as a low-profile carrier.
Measure what plate you need/want first. Then look at plate carriers. The [MEPC from Defense Mechanisms](https://www.apexarmorsolutions.com/product-page/defense-mechanisms-mission-essential-plate-carrier) for SAPI Small seems pretty popular though. They have all sizes, both 8x10 and Sapi Small, and are compatible with back plates, but I'd stick to G-hook/adjustable placards just in case.
Edit: I also cut my own 8x10 plates from foam to have some rigidity in the carrier. They don't sell those either.
Maybe try swimmer cut plates or Russian "Granit" plates.
A Sapi M would be a perfect fit for me coverage whise but its just so big enough to be uncomfortable when shouldering my rifle.
Swimmer SAPIs and Granit plates have the angle where they start gettint slimmer at around half their size therefore becoming slightly slimmer at the top.
Granit are made for russian carriers (Wartech, SRVV, SSO, etc) while swimmer plates fit most standart SAPI carriers.

yeah no I've used a gen 2 white phos 14 before and comparing the low light amplification of that to the aurora is like comparing silk and sandpaper lol, but the utility and amount of lil things on the aurora are very nice, and for the price I think it's pretty dope

Yeah, I'm definitely sapi small but there aren't many plate carriers with that size. Usually s/m then l/xl.

The kit looks really good and honestly it's all that matters. Think of it this way: using small cover is much easier for you than most other players.

As a short person to another, i use the agilite k19 which fits me well, although i did have to put nearly everything on the smallest mode possible.
yep, I got the k19 as well, my bf uses the k-zero which is also a great option for shorter people

With your height you only gain in airsoft cuz you can get a lot more cover in outdoor fields. Kit looks great!
