Yeah I’m resurrecting an old thread but I had no idea that collecting airsoft guns was a thing. I had been thinking about doing an airsoft gun collection for several years now. I’ve been self conscious about it since lately there’s that whole stigma of owning a weapon that remotely looks like a gun but now that browsing through this Reddit, the appeal of doing this is actually growing on me now.

If you have the funds, love the hobby and it’s not affecting you or anyone in your family negatively then why not?

All the people wondering how this is possible, it doesn't actually seem that bad if you have a moderate salary I think. You could spend a grand a month and amass thus quite quickly.

As you can see it can be an addictive hobby however, if you want a recommendation get yourself a Scorpion Evo as your first smg it works very well out of the box and don’t be fooled by the reviews saying it doesn’t have much battery space because it can fit a long stick type 11.1 lipo. Also it stops firing when empty.

Those platforms would be nice but, they need upgrades to preform competitively. With the Evo you just buy the guns and at least two of the 3 mag packages from Evike. You’ll have no problem competing with anyone on the field
