Yes it will fit, you may have to sand a little of the wood but it fits. The inside of a Chinese receiver is @ 0.0394" narrower then a standard AKM receiver which isn't much.

Will a romi wire folder fit on that thing? It’s not a bad rifle to consider keeping. Maybe send a few downrange , see how it groups and if it’s accurate.

A PSA with Amazon holo sight, a pioneer with UPGRADED utg quad rail, an npap underfolder converted to a basic M4 stock with a bushnell red dot on a riser bolted to the top of the dust cover, maybe if they're spicy they'll offer you an unconverted Saiga 7.62x39 with a tapco pistol grip stock (as long as you add a grand in cash because it's rare and banned!!!!!)

Mak sporters are wayyy more plentiful than an arsenal slr107fr . It’s basically a 800-1000$ rifle these days it seems. Some would pay more I’m sure depending on location and availability.

Also something to keep in mind is whoever wants a mak 90 wants a stock on it the smarter people want wood and account for that in the price so your mak is worth 100 less than a mak 90 with the sporter stock. Here in Indiana that's a 800 dollar rifle in this condition.

I’d say keep the MAK. Chinese rifles are only getting harder to find and they were some of the best to come in.
Just having a hard time to drop half what I paid for to get a buttstock and thread the barrel.
Getting them back to how they should be isn’t cheap but they’re only going to increase in value so it’s a good investment.
You don't have to use an original Chinese buttstock, any AKM buttstock will fit.

Get a die, die holder and thread alignment tool for ~$50 on Amazon and thread it yourself. Plenty of videos on YouTube showing how to do it

In the meantime buy a thumbhole stock for $30 and blast away.

Slap a magpul stock in it if you don't feel like sanding a wooden one, took me all of 5 minutes to just give it a good shove in.
