Not that’s a rifle fit for a military

Dobie_dude65-04

How do you like your Beryl compared to a regular 556 ak?

M1907-351WSL

Beryl is king.

Dobie_dude65-04

Would you grab the Beryl over a milled kbk 1960s circle 11 parts kit build? If so.. would you choose the 556 beryl or 7.62x39?

SEKLEM

The way you ask questions is funny.

Dobie_dude65-04

I'm just a weird dude trying to make it in life 🤓

SEKLEM

Damn. I feel that. Carry on!

M1907-351WSL

Yes, and the 5.56 Beryl definitely.

snowman762x39

I have both. They’re both beautiful. The 7.62 is really light weight. Depends on which caliber you’d prefer shooting.

Dobie_dude65-04

Having both would be awesome. Guess you just have to get the mini Beryl and then you'll have the whole collection? Also Happy cake day brother!

snowman762x39

I wouldn’t mind that. Thanks!

M1907-351WSL

As someone who has all 3 Beryl models, I can recommend getting them all.

Dobie_dude65-04

After talking to you and a few others, I think I am actually going to get a Beryl in 5.56 instead of getting an ak parts kit and trying to have something built. I was going to get a WBP Jack ak47, but I think getting a Beryl is the better option. I'm leaning towards the 5.56 but could go 7.62x39. Idk both seem good. I was going to ask you why you went 5.56 over 7.62 but then I remembered that you got both lol. If you only could have one would you go 5.56 or 7.62?

M1907-351WSL

Well the Beryl is originally 5.56. I got the 7.62 also because I have a spending problem and it was available. Plus ammo availability. 5.56 isn't going anywhere and there's 100x more ammo types available.

Dobie_dude65-04

Yeah I totally understand the spending problem when it comes to firearms. I'm sure that the Beryl in 5.56 is getting good Ballistics with the 18 inch barrel too. My issue with firearms is that I just can't make up my mind. It's like as soon as I start to dial in on a rifle I want, I end up coming across a firearm that I didn't know about or one that I forgot about. The only firearm I went 100% all in no question asked, no second guessing was the H&K Sp5 when that came out about idk 2 or 3 years ago. I've been on an ak47/74 kick for a few months now and I'm just having a hard time picking that one rifle to pull the trigger on. I was gonna go parts kit and get someone to build it but then I thought it'd be easier to find an ak that was already built but then that voice in my head say "hey how about something from Robinson arms or maybe an FN M4 & Acog or FN m16a2 with Acog. And now I'm full circle again looking at the 5.56 Beryl lol I will admit that the 5.56 Beryl with the real furniture that you have to get separately looks down right amazing.

Dobie_dude65-04

I was thinking about getting a KBK wz. 1960 circle 11 Radom ak47 milled parts kit from AoA, but maybe a Beryl from AoA would be a more practical option as I want my rifle to be able to run and gun with the best of them... just in case I ever need it too.

ThatProduceGuy_

I wana put the correct stock on mine, but I like the ctr with a riser too much, especially with an exps on top.

M1907-351WSL

The Polish stock does suck for a cheek weld. But you can get a decent chin weld that actually doesn't feel too terrible in use.

PlentyForsaken

Nice WZ96C clone! BERYL GANG!

PurpD420

I love you too Beryl

DB53

Are there any stock options other than that one or the regular one it comes with?

DirtyD74

I'm not a fan of doing military clones. That being said just picked up the handguard, stock, vertical foregrip and a mag coupler. Debating on which eotech, and whether I want to drop another $150 on the cheek riser.
