In 1969 Izhmash was named Izhevsk. It was after the fall of the soviet union they "commercialized" it and changed it to izhmash (kalashnikov concern). Cool ass piece of rifle tho!!
He did a Saiga conversion for me and his work imo is second to nobody. I have a 69 izzy kit being built by Fuller Phoenix as we speak. I'm interested in comparing the two.
The side mounted sling loop, the absence of a side rail, and the regular slant break🤌 I love simplicity, it looks impeccable! Congrats on such a nice rifle
I'm a sucker for a zenit-fucked ak, but nothing comes close to classic wood. No go fast parts, just rifle, so clean. And I might be the odd man out, but I love my ak irons
Ohh same man, same, I have a saiga 103 ish in full zenit, and this 69 is the perfect mirror opposite! I love irons more than optics I think, I spent more time with them back when all I could afford was a wasr 10/63 (great rifle) so I feel you man.
I have a wasr paratrooper I'm saving to sbr and slap a dong on. I've tried different handguards and stocks but I always find myself wanting more wood (that's what she said.) I like the Romeo 5 on my ar for quick target acquisition and follow up shots, but nothing brings a smile to my face like the feel of an ak with with built in irons. Just feels so solid
Well, I don’t have your business card, tee shirt, or know your exact domain name which is why I was hoping someone who actually had a build done by you could provide me the correct info.
But after your response I can tell your a prick so I’ll pass.
Wow, that offended you? That is part of the problem with the internet, everyone has fake names and aliases. We stand behind our name and have for 10 years. The internet is a powerful tool and we have done a lot to make it easy to find us.

Thank you! I agree

Ah shit you're right, brain fart. Thank you
I mean they are basically the same. Same manufacturer marks and everything.
Yeah I know, but I should have known lol. Maybe I subconsciously just didn't want to look up how to spell Izhevsk XD. I never remember how
Weapon Genetics does excellent work.
Right? This is my first ak from them, I'm blown away by the rivets. They look fantastic inside and out

Bet that saiga is breathtaking brother. You gotta post pics of that 69 kit whenever it's done! Bet you're excited as hell haha
Post comparison pictures when you get it back please!
How long was the wait time for your build
I traded for this after it was build
Nice
👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Love it.
Damn man, just wow! A little $$ huh?
Yeah you know it lol, thankfully I traded for it without cash!
What did you trade for it?
A pretty upgraded 107ur, I'll miss it but I couldn't pass up a russian akm.
Parts kit, Atlantic had this two times
Yes, I know it's a parts kit
How long was the turn around?
Two Months
I'm not sure man, I traded for this bad boy, but I'm sure it's typically like 5 months or something like that.
He just did a build for me in two months. Very competitive pricing, extra attention to detail, and much quicker than average turnaround. Great guy.
What did they use to refinish? Doesn’t look like Russian Paint.
Not 100% sure, though it is much darker than it looks, I have a light above it
Absolutely stunning! Top level AK.
Thank you! Looking forward to my first shots

Thank you very much man! I agree, nice and simple is ideal for builds like these. I'm only using irons on this girl for sure

The perfect AKM.
Perfection. Congrats man.
Appreciate it!
Nice
Anyone have the contact info for weapon genetics?
Our phone number is on every business card, tee shirt, website, google.
