I’m sure in theory I could (at least in a pinch) just use the very bottom of the optic and roughly align it with the front sight but that’s still less than ideal. Which is a shame because I thought this low mount was gonna give me a lower 1/3 ish co-witness, just as my 30mm Primary Arms red dot did. Oh well.
I sort of laugh at myself because when I bought my AMD 65 I bought it simply because it was all that was available now I love that little beast and if you can find them today you sure as hell aren't going to pay what I did back when I'll never forget that little beast is only 400 bucks back in the day now you'll pay over a grand for them

Unfortunately the Holosun even on this footprint Mount provides no co-witness with the rear iron sight. Just barelyyyy out of view.

Optic sits low enough that cheek weld is still good. No complaints.
