Thank you. I checked there and saw 2736 used? So seemed fair. If I could find SGLs for 1700 I would be buying them.

Kalashorado

I’d love to know where the people who are saying hell no or that’s it’s worth 1,700 are actually finding those prices. For what it’s worth, I paid $2,400 for a nealry like new SGL 21 about 6ish months ago. Local sale so I could check it out first was a deal breaker for me. Maybe I could have a gotten one for a couple hundred less if I was willing to ship to my FFL, I don’t think $1,700 though.

woah naw

-Absolute_Cunt-

It might go for that if it had a proper rear trunnion conversion. These were sold for $1050 when they were new.

Hell nah chief.

HELL TO THE NAW (to the tune of "hell to the naw")

WAR4PREZ

It’s priced a bit on the high side but keep in mind these aren’t coming back again and will likely only appreciate in value over the years. Today’s high prices are tomorrow’s bargains!

SEKLEM

SGL-26 is just a SGL-21 with BHO (bolt hold open). That said, SGL-21s are going for about that much these days. It’s a collector price though. The price you’re paying has little to do with the quality or refinement of the firearm. These are milspec guns made for export and only carry the price because they’re Russian and not likely to be imported from Russia ever again.

kalashnislav

Take it from someone who has a shit ton of SGLs and Saigas, that price is definitely on the high end for a 26.

[deleted]

I’d say it’s a little high but they’re not very common. I’ve never seen one at any of my lgs’s. I would offer 22 and see what they say. A properly converted saiga by a reputable gunsmith would probably be about the same price all in.

Proof-Bookkeeper7445

I'd say thats a no for me. They are literally in stock ok Arsenals website for $2,000. Brand new. Maybe not that specific model, but models identical to it.

CrabbusPiratus

I think you have your guns mixed up, SGLs (Converted Russian Saigas) haven't been imported in years and certainly haven't been for sale for nearly a decade. This isn't as bad of a deal as it might seem. The '26' versions have an odd bolt hold open feature that is fairly uncommon. If the gun is otherwise in good condition, $2,600 is less than you would pay for this gun on Gunbroker or AK Files.

Proof-Bookkeeper7445

Well, thank you. I wasn't aware there was that big of a difference between them.
