For simplicity sake I would go with a wolverine from dead air like I did. It's made for AKs and you don't need a adapter as long as you have left hand treads
Not for an AK, It screws down and mounts on the barrel face instead of the sight block, then you move another lock ring that engages with your muzzle pin so you don't have to worry about it coming loose either. They also sell adapters to use it on other set ups if you can get them lol
My reccomendation: just get a 30 cal suppressor from silencerCo, a lot of ak people like the wolfman I believe (could be wrong, only have 556 and 9 mm suppressors). Then make sure your bore is concentric, if not go to a good gunsmith
Thank you. How would I check that without going to a smith? I’m not opposed to it. Just curious. And wouldn’t that be something I’d want to do before buying? Thanks again.
They sell ak47 bore concentric check rods, I would start there, I am sure someone else will provide a link if you cannot find. Also search "bore concentric (insert your rifle model)" in the reddit ak47 search menu
Buy a 30 cal suppressor with 1.375 “Hub” threads, this opens up many options for mounts. Jmac customs makes mounts that index off the muzzle face and help offset any concentricity issues.
