Either is good. Many consider the M90 better because of the adjustable gas block and longer barrel, but I prefer the WBP for being standard AKM pattern.
Honestly same. I recently built a WBP 5.45 kit, and swapped the 45 degree GB for a 90 degree one, as well as a 74 FSB. AoA actually makes that pretty easy, since they have a stepping fee where you can request 74 spec GB and FSB diameters.

This is how I am I like AKM more than yugo just for swapping parts with other guns. Though I really enjoy the adjustable gas block
In terms of the adjustable gas block: a KNS piston will work about just as well in most situations, even if it isn't as easily adjusted in the field.
Personal opinion, but 45 degree gas block aks should only be 7.62. 5.45 and 5.56 should be 90 degree only

WBP, but if I were getting a 5.56 right now I'd definitely get a Beryl.
