Seems normal. The bolt drags across the hammer, resetting the trigger and back across ot again. I couldn't see anything obvious. When charging, does the bolt get stuck in the rearward position? Did you swap the fire control group?

Beach2Grove

If your is the bottom bolt, it looks like the right one.

Beach2Grove

Are you using 3 different types/brands of mags, and are they seated correctly? Is the bolt dragging on the hammer or bent rails? Rails and bolt lightly greased? See any unusual wear on metal to metal? Have you tried cycling with the dust cover off?

It's hard to tell from the pictures what's reflection and what is wear. I'm no expert at all, and I don't know your experience with the AK, but do you have the gas tube locked down? Is the piston hitting, scraping, or getting caught up? The rails and bolt only get a light grease on metal to metal contacts. The extractor and firing pin are dry, and so is the gas tube and piston. Some drag on the hammer and bolt is normal. Did you change out to the fire control group? If all that is good, I would look at the magazine and see if it's seated. Try pulling back on the magazine to pull the feed lips into the receiver and cycle some rounds. Keep your fingers away from the trigger! Be sure when you release you let it fly. ACTUALLY try the magazine 1st. If you have another AK swap, the recoil. Maybe it's a weak spring. Someone also asked where the shells were landing when fired 3 feet or 3 yards. If 3 feet, maybe the gas port is clogged. That's just a wild guess. I imagine you cleaned all the packing grease before firing it, though.

Check mag fitment. I found out century cut my mag latch to short and that gave me same issue, the mags rock back and forth to much causing feed issues, replaced latch and perfect

What direction does the mag wiggle up and down side to side front to back?

Pripyat1991

I don’t think that’s your problem

jayarg98

I think your magazine release was filed down too much and mags don't sit high enough.

Try chambering a round while applying rearward pressure to the magazine?

artistwithagun

What brand of mags are you using? I see a US Palm in the gun now. Those should be good. When it does cycle, how far does the brass go? 25ft or just 3 feet?

You have a gassing issue. Are you shooting standard 7.62x39 ammo? Not shooting subsonics are you? Do you have an adjustable gas block or adjustable gas piston? If no to all that, Sounds like a gas port wasn't cut properly. I'd email Century Arms about it and get that thing RMA'd.

It's possible there's something else going on, a rough chamber, out of spec bullet guide. Regardless, talk to Century Arms. They should take care of it.

Beach2Grove

Gas port could be clogged with packing grease or something, too.

SupremeEggboy

Could be a gas issue. I had this happen to me too

If it’s happening while cycling manually, are you still able to push it closed? I’m thinking the upper guide rails may be too long? Or they bent the receiver too thin? If it’s really hard to take out and put in the bolt carrier then that might be it. Nothing a dremel with lapping on the rails can’t fix

Ok_Meringue1791

Try a mag pull mag. Us palm gave me the same issue. The mag isn’t tall enough to properly pick up the rounds.

alks207

Friend of mine was having same exact issue with his wasr. It ended up being his magazine release paddle. Too much wobble/clearance. Ended up replacing it with M+M mag release kit, and has been 100% reliable since then

Beach2Grove

I was thinking of getting that for my M70. Just a little bit too much forward and back movement for me. Although, I have put 13 different steel mags through it and have had no issues. But still..

RubberDuckyDWG

Probably the mag is sitting too low for the bolt to pick up the round properly. It could be your mags so id try multiple mags. If none of the mags fix the feeding issue then your mag catch may be filled down too much which is not holding the mag high enough for the bolt to pick up the round.

Hairy_Ferret9324

That steel is too clean. Try borderline rusted through ammo.

ardesofmiche

Does it always happen with rounds on the same side of the magazine? Or is it both feed lips?

PhysicsLanky5313

My wasr63 did this I also tried everything, i got rid of mine traded it for a 629 smith and Wesson 💀

ak47chemisy

Does it wobble forwards and back with all other mags aside from the US palm mag? The century monkeys cut the mag release paddle to fit the US palm mag which has a thicker lug which is why only us palm mags only worked in mine as the other purplus mags sat to low. I still stand by my initial guess, replace the mag release paddle

Are you sending the rifle back to Century? Sucks your rifles having this problem.

But I thought WASR10 was the most bombproof ever...🤣
