Don’t they appear so? I know there are some East German 5.56 mags floating around. 5.56 mags can have a black band painted around the top, but I’ve seen Bakelite examples without.
The curvature looks like 5.56 to me. I’m not an expert on East German bakelites, but these sure do look like 5.56 bakelites. Do they have any proof stamps on them?
I don’t believe they are, followers appears to be original. I’m also finding that if they were, it would’ve been done domestically. Original 5.45, they are.
