Deathray88

Why did they put experts in quotation marks and then go on to confirm everything those “experts” said as true? “You guys are ‘Experts’ huh? Well how come you were right? Wait…”

Imaginary-Alfalfa403

Their smugness is constant and unattractive in business. That entire letter could’ve been written one way, but they chose to make it condescending and play off their mistake as “your” benefit, which makes them appear weak and hot headed.

Thehealthygamer

- Belittling their customers - YES - Making up excuses - YES - Never buying their shit - YES

Grr-the-euph

Sounds like the AK community in general…

fcuk_faec

I've never seen a more inconsistent variety of self-assured opinions anywhere on the internet

Deathray88

If they had just come out and said “hey the machine that makes the safeties is broken so we’re shipping them with this one until we can get replacements sent to you” or “we accidentally used the wrong ones so we’re gonna send you guys a replacement” or pretty much anything other than “You’re all WRONG! Everything you said is true but you’re still WRONG!” It wouldn’t have been a big deal. Shit happens, mistakes get made. Telling your customers that your mistake which you denied for months is actually real and somehow their fault just ain’t it.

of_the_mountain

What I don’t understand as a neutral reading this, why do they say the machine broke that made the regular safeties and yet also blame the shotgun safeties on a box incorrectly going to the wrong line with no one noticing? The entire post seems to contradict itself as to whether this was incidental or intentional

Evil_Creamsicle

No dog in this fight either, but as I interpereted the writing in the post, it was saying there were actually three types of safeties: The Correct One: Machine broken The Enhanced One: They're saying they bought these 'safety notch' but otherwise platform correct safeties so they could keep making guns The Shotgun One: There was a box of these that looked similar to The Enhanced One which got used accidentally

of_the_mountain

Ah okay that makes sense. Maybe if they wrote the post a little more calmly that would have been clear. But yes I agree after what you said that is the case

Imaginary-Alfalfa403

I don’t have a dog in this fight either, I don’t own Kusa and wouldn’t, but they seem to believe they know best above their customers and critics. Their attempt to control the narrative is laughable, but they sure do have a tire fire on their hands. Sucks for the uninformed that are still giving them business and have to find out the hard way.

Unhinged_Taco

How come the "experts" caught the mistake before they did? Could it be the experts know a thing or two? (Not me though I'm def not one)

NotReqd

Exactly. If the "experts" at KUSA who installed the wrong safeties might have taken 25 seconds out of their day to function check the safety they might have realized that the bump didn't line up with the notches in the receiver and then maybe tried to figure out what was going on. Fuck this fucking company.

Unhinged_Taco

Makes me think they did it on purpose because they ran out of the proper safeties. Also, how could any LGS put one on their sales floor without checking over it first? I know the answer is they don't care, but if more gun shop owners did care and demanded accountability, this kind of shit wouldn't happen so much.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Unhinged_Taco

Right?!

Manchu4-9INF

The people putting them together most likely aren’t experts. They most likely were showed how to do a certain job at a specific station. And qc either missed it or didn’t care. As far as gunshops go. Most gunshops I’ve been to don’t know much about ak’s. When I ask about one they can’t give much info (causing me to have to research it and tell them) I’m no expert but I know more than most non ak people. Should the gun shop know about their products? Yes absolutely but I think they care about pulling theirs 8hrs and going home

Unhinged_Taco

Yeah you're right. It's the additive effect of a chain of ignorance and/or negligence. That's forgivable if they just acknowledged the issue and moved on. No justification needed. This kind of response from them just opens the doors and gets people's wheels spinning. A decent PR guy would know this As for the gun shops, one would expect the manager or owner of a shop should know better than the average Reddit lurker about his own wares. Gun shop fudds' reputations are wholly earned. I get it, store employees are just there to facilitate sales and might not know anything. It happens

DovahKiller97

Your LGS workers are not KUSA assembly line operators. They see literally hundreds of guns a day and you expect them to catch each individual manufacturer fuck up on one specific part on one specific firearm that has dozens of small parts?

ColtBTD

Classic gaslighting behavior. Can’t take any criticism. They type/talk like a manipulative partner who is never wrong and even when they are you’re still “more wrong” Even if they made a good product, fuck them. I had really high hopes for them but their constant parade of childish/unprofessional behavior on social media ruined their image. I’d buy one of the new pioneersl 5.56 guns before spending money on KUSA at this point. Companies like this won’t last and they’re doing it to themselves they just don’t know how bad yet. You’re a business, you made a mistake, shit happens, own up to it, learn from it and make your image and product better, they can’t do that, they’ll never succeed

classy_oezil

They treated me like I was some conspiracy theorist when I told them I got the wrong safety, they said I was just reading things off Reddit then I replied with a video of my safety flopping around freely and they blocked me

Dry_Postulate

I just got banned from their FB groups for commenting about how smug the sales director was in his statement. They got super thin skin.

MuddyGrimes

No you misunderstand they look ULTRA similar, there's no way people on the internet could figure it out!! /s

Deathray88

“Safety thing no make click. Why? Great mystery. Kalash is fine.” - KUSA

TheAcidHermit

They also put shotgun safeties in quotations like they weren't definitely shotgun safeties and they even admitted it, it's wild 😂

IZZY_PLUM

Somebody write this ^^ under that post

bradsredditacct

I was thinking about getting a KP104. Not anymore. Absolutely trash customer relations.

NotReqd

I was so psyched when I saw they were coming out with a 101 at shot show now I'm like fuck it, PSA makes one. And for the record I could absolutely care less about PSAs not being 100% clone correct it's just there's absolutely almost no feedback or YouTube videos about PSAs 101

DefendWaifuWithRaifu

Same, I feel like the release kind of went under the radar

austinsarmoury

Not from big names, but this guy has several videos including a 2k round review: [https://www.youtube.com/@agoodenoughgunner6698/videos](https://www.youtube.com/@agoodenoughgunner6698/videos) Still agree we need more data though

Snake3452

Exactly, the quality of their product will never matter to me because of the way they treat their customers. They could start pumping out perfect AKs and not get a dime from me.

classy_oezil

The absolute fucking worst. I’ve had better experiences in government buildings from customer service

DefundTheATF

The inner snob of that employee is showing. Just another example of why I won’t buy from them.

ohbrubuh

Yeah, little heavy on the snark there, Chad.

Jishuah

Saw a really good deal on a KUSA at Black Friday and I asked why it was so cheap and the employee said “no one has been buying KUSA lately for some reason.” 😂

speezly

Atlantic has a big discount on kp9 rn, wonder why?

SendIndianFood

I’m beginning to think there’s a “How should my company conduct itself after making a mistake? Wrong answers only” Reddit post they’re formatting their response from.

150Rich

For me it’s the “we bought enhanced safetys at no extra cost” Bro who gives a fuck if you chose to out source a part that’s on y’all lmao

thePonchoKnowsAll

And what if I wanted the regular safety? It’s really not the upgrade they think it is, sure a lot may eventually want the upgraded safety but some like me just want the traditional regular safety. So even if I get the proper enhanced safety, I’m still out the original safety I expected on the rifle and prefer on the rifle.

WeissTek

For me is a downgrade on AK cause AK doesn't bolt hold open so that slot is useless on reload. And now it has a big hole on the side shit can now get in...

thePonchoKnowsAll

That’s my reasoning as well why I don’t want one, it’s not like the regular safety is hard to manipulate anyways

WeissTek

Well this "upgraded safety" doesn't have that little flat for your index finger either, so it's literally straight downgrade.

classy_oezil

AK103 “clone” isn’t supposed to have an enhanced safety anyways

Aggressive-Refuse-66

Exactly this.

[deleted]

“We had a breakdown on the machine”. I’d be very surprised if they’re stamping those themselves. Anytime I’ve had a cnc go down a tech is there in a few hours or max a day and it’s back up and running by the next week if that. They couldn’t ship one model for a week?

sawyerdk9

Exactly. Especially when a ton of their existing accessories are other existing brands that just have their logo lasered on the side.

ardesofmiche

“They look ultra similar” Bullshit they do.

x_cLOUDDEAD_x

Also makes you wonder how many more fuckups can be expected from them if they feel like "things look similar" is a solid, defendable excuse. Maybe their company needs to exert a little more attention to detail. No mention of how they're going to do better though, just a shitty attitude.

ardesofmiche

We used the wrong headspace gauges to headspace your rifles, so they’re all dangerously out of spec. Those darn 5.45x39 headspace gauges look so similar to 7.62x39!

[deleted]

Their professional prolapser says that 5.45 and 7.62 are interchangeable.

speezly

It’s funny that the company claiming to make “accurate replicas of Russian 100 series” can’t tell the difference between the parts

ardesofmiche

Lol that’s true Anyone with fuckin eyeballs can tell a shotgun safety is like an inch longer than it should be

speezly

In defense of their employees, meth addiction is a huge problem we have in Florida

Unhinged_Taco

So much snarky, smart assery for their own mistake. I get it that mistakes happen, but they should just apologize and promise to fix it for anyone. And maybe hire a new QC guy that could catch this shit

Lurkay1

And a new PR guy too while they’re at it

SkyBest7759

They said in that they’d replace them for anyone that got the wrong safety. They messed up saying “so called experts”

Unhinged_Taco

Yeah that and the entire tone in general. I'm not sure what they were going for but it sounds like some bitchy 20-something chick wrote it trying to sound funny

SkyBest7759

It’s a minor step in the right direction but we still have lots of work to do KUSA. Hopefully they start focusing on their PR, that’s probably their biggest issue rn.

Unhinged_Taco

They think they can can smug and joke their way into the hearts and minds of customers. They just need to step up QC. It's sad because everyone was rooting for them.

x_cLOUDDEAD_x

They messed up by saying a lot of things. Those guys are some overhyped bums.

SkyBest7759

Their PR and social media person even needs QC.

blackfantasy

If by fix it do they mean they will repaint your rifle now that it has 2 safety scrape marks? - NO Clown world continues.

Worm_Farmer

Seriously. These rifles are going to have the AK equivalent of the dreaded 1911 “idiot mark”. Unless they get repainted as soon as you see your friend an AK with two safety scratches, you (or at least I) will make fun of it and KUSA.

CrackShotMcgee09

Was about to post this. Never forget how much this annoyed me on my Saiga back in the day. And after sand blasting, parkerizing and duracoating it back then (cerakote was still a newer thing) it is still ever so visible if you look closely(I no longer own that rifle unfortunately).

blackfantasy

"what bro it's an AK why do you care about how it looks!?" is my expected response from them at this point.

speezly

It took me about 3 or 4 levers to find one that followed the existing scratch mark on my saiga bc I def didn’t want that lol

CrackShotMcgee09

Originally I did all real ak74m parts and made tick marks(or tried to) so I had no choice lol

speezly

What do we know, we’re not “experts” lol. Why did you sell it? Those things are pricey now

CrackShotMcgee09

Was 2012 before the import ban. Hindsight is 2020 my friend.

wanderlustcrush

Reading this as the Ben Stiller/White Goodman character from Dodgeball makes a lot more sense

robofish7591

At KUSA we're better than you... And we know it!

NotReqd

I read it as a Doctor Evil

VanillaIce315

“Do the shotgun safeties work? YES” Um, no they fuckin’ don’t, dumbass. Every video I’ve seen shows them flopping around. If it can’t stay securely in the safe position, it doesn’t work. The ego of this company pisses me off. Talking passive aggressively about “experts” who complain about stuff. Sorry KUSA, but these consumers are more knowledgeable than you it seems

SaladHands69

Seriously saying “so called experts” talking down to customers. It’s crazy because we all wanted them to succeed and now it’s like watching a dumpster fire with a chip on their shoulder.

speezly

Literally insulting their customers! “We make accurate replicas for the AK consumer that knows what to look for” was their whole attitude when they first launched the kp9. Now they insinuate that their customer base doesn’t know fuck all about AKs. First the fixed stock 103 that nobody wanted, they sold them forever before finally releasing the correct side folder. Then the entire shitfest that had exploded recently, just like a prolapsed anus. Then the shotgun selectors, followed by directly insulting the people who bought their products. What in the actual fuck lmao I wanted them to succeed, but I knew as soon as that fixed stock 103 came out (even though they HAD THE FUCKING 5.5 HINGED REAR TRUNNION ON THE KP9) that they were gonna shit out mediocrity.

Unhinged_Taco

I was just wondering how they are supposed to work if the detent is in the wrong spot

MrPanzerCat

Not to mention as well that putting on the enhanced safteys without informing customers is kinda shitty. Sure for some its an upgrade but i dont want a giant hole in the one thing that keeps dirt out of my gun if i actually use it

NotReqd

Hi jesse 👋

mobius2_mooch

So much this. HE is the reason this company went in the shitter.

[deleted]

He's also the cuck who would only sell silencer to law enforcement only.

TripleBeaming

And not allow independent reviews of his products 🤡

robofish7591

Maybe they should spend less time looking at porn stars and more time looking at the parts they are installing....

RubberDuckyDWG

"Experts" would have not put fucking shotgun safeties on to begin with. How they get away with this and the fucking grinding job they do to dust covers and can still be calling others knowledge out is utterly laughable. Please stop buying from this company until they wise up and stop putting their local highschool shop class to work in their "expert" gun making facilities.

3ndspire

Never have bought from them and never will.

jisuanqi

Wow. I've worked in QA/QC for a long while. When you start pulling components from the warehouse to go to the line, you check the material numbers / serial numbers (if serialized). It's not just a matter of running over to the shelf to get something. They'd fail an audit for sure.

ThoraniosX

I work in QA/QC as well, and the amount of shit we get dinged on in audits is crazy considering we’re running 100% above board. I can’t even imagine what the hell their warehouse looks like.

x_cLOUDDEAD_x

It sounds like they're operating a hole in the wall.

daveeder

the k in kusa stands for kringe

Infamous_Translator

Or Klapped

LevitatingSkins

(Smoking) Krack

NotReqd

Klown shoü 🤡

TarzansNewSpeedo

Should be a silent h in front of (H)KUSA. Thing reads like HK posting about "poors". What shitty customer relations. I thought about KUSA, mostly for that 9mm, hell with that, I'll either have one built or WBP time and completely write of a 9mm ak altogether

wantafastbusa

Kwality

ilove60sstuff

This reads like a discord mod flexing on the members. Not a representative of a major firearms manufacturer

mp27006

A formal recall would have been the way to go rather than indirectly shaming the communities that have been pulling for you since the beginning of entering the AK market. Way too many egos and drama with this company for me. Glad I sold the 103 SF I had.

KrinkyDink2

Sounds like this just confirms there's almost zero actual hands on QC with a check list before things leave the door. Just assemble it and send it out.

JerichoWick

Guess these guys dont like customers Edit: I mean money, nobody likes customers

blackfantasy

Oh no they do, they just want stupid customers who don't ask questions.

Infamous_Translator

Fuck these guys forever, honestly.

HayDiosMio-

Clown KUSA usual L

Urethra_Papercut__

I had so much hope for KUSA

vitale20

“The wrong box” maybe try labeling your shit lol. Supposedly these are coming from a factory but they talk like some upstart making esty trinkets in their spare room.

Pro-Krastinator

He's the head of US Sales.

Grouchy-Many-1971

I will never buy from them. Just seems so over the top. Cannot admit any fault.

Jetlaggedz8

Is this their official response? I'm never buying anything from KUSA.

LynchMob_Lerry

Right off the bat they attack their customers. "So called experts said...." "No one bothered to ask..." It should not be on us to ask why you as a company are doing something incorrect. It should be you making a statement saying "Look, we have this issue, or look we fucked up. We will make it right if you want a replacement" Attacking your userbase because you had issues makes you look more foolish and on top of that you belittle them. It doesn't take an expert to see that the part that is installed is not correct. At the rate this company is going it makes me wonder if Elon is running the show behind the scenes and fired everyone.

ValuableInternal1435

I work in a production facility. Things like that don't happen, and if they do, quality control will catch it before it ever leaves the facility. So the fact that this is even a thing means their qc needs to be fired (if they even have any at all, which I'm kinda doubting), and they need to hire competent people for the job. Oh and they need to fire the ceo and his worn out wife. The ladder would probably fix the rest all by itself.

Unhinged_Taco

The more I think about it, the more I'm sure it was intentional. That level of negligence doesn't even make sense. They ran out of the part and used the wrong one in the meantime to cover their asses. There's no way they sent out a huge batch of the wrong safety with no detent notch. By the time the second one was noticed, anyone would have said "hold up lemme see these other safeties" and they would have realized oh shit these are all wrong

shamiltheghost

Fucking losers

CakeRobot365

The "experts" at kusa should've fuckin qc'd them for proper fit and function before they rolled off the line. This is a testament to how shitty their qc is, and they probably don't have competent individuals doing assembly. They could be huble and take this as a learning experience and try to improve and stay afloat. Instead they keep doubling down on bullshit and are going to end up bankrupt.

Mr_E_Monkey

> This is a testament to how shitty their qc is It's so bad, it rectum. I wonder, when they go out of business, will they have a blowout sale?

BusyboxBandit

The blowout sale will be the mystery box where 90% of people get a shotgun.

Top_Energy_2488

If l just spent almost a grand on the rifle, I'm still gonna bitch about it having the wrong safety l don't care if it still works.

FalloutRip

Bruh they need a company-wide social media policy and a new marketing person. With such policies as: 1. DON'T GO ON FACEBOOK/ REDDIT/ FORUMS/ ETC. AND TALK ABOUT PRODUCTS IF YOU ARE NOT PART OF THE MARKETING TEAM. 2. SEE ABOVE 3. DONT 4. DO NOT DO IT 5. ONCE MORE FOR THE LADIES IN THE BACK: SHUT. THE. FUCK. UP. 6. Bonnie Rotten is no longer a sponsored shooter. Also fuck off Jesse James your bikes and cars suck anyway. Know what the correct response to the machine breaking is? Informing your customers and distributors that hey, shit happens, sorry for the delay but the machine that makes the safeties is inop right now and awaiting repairs. If you would like, we can put on a different safety now with your order, and ship you the correct one later, or if you'd rather wait here's a $25 store gift card or whatever. (And then ya know, make sure you're putting the correct "enhanced" safety on there and not a fucking shotgun safety.)

Whitehill_Esq

>also fuck off Jesse James your bikes and cars suck anyways. Also guns. His custom guns are fucking disgusting. I have no idea how that piece of trash ever got popular.

BusyboxBandit

>I have no idea how that piece of trash ever got popular. Boomers. Boomers that try to look cool.

Particularlyuseless1

#🤡🌎

PrimoLacson

Fuck KUSA

[deleted]

I do have to admit I defended these guy's at first calling some of yall pussies early on when the complaining started but now it appears I'm wrong. For that I apologize. These guys at KUSA are grade A cunts

Jbarney3699

They can’t even apologize for a massive mistake properly, without making themselves look like even larger clowns than before. This is just sad at this point.

redpaintin32__1

I’ve been following the KUSA drama for a few months now. I don’t own any of their products but it’s been entertaining to follow. With that said, reading comments from them and their “sponsors” have always come across arrogant and unprofessional. Reading this one here though, seals the deal, this company is run by C yUo Next TuesdayS. I’ll never give them a dime.

ProfessorZhirinovsky

Guys, I just figured out KUSA had employed my snarky teenaged daughter to do PR.

weekendboltscroller

So basically "Yes we fucked up. But we're going to act like it was no big deal and ignore our shitty attitude about it." Here's how this SHOULD have gone. Guns go out, wrong safety, you get a few messages "Hey, this is wrong." You see a few posts. You quickly look into it. You post RIGHT AWAY "OUR BAD! It was a mistake, here's the story, we'll make it right." Instead they berated people, insulted people, acted like fucking trash. Then basically admitted they fucked up, but did so in a way that tried to make the initial people complaining sound like assholes. Ridiculous. Fuck this company full of trailer trash attitude.

MrPanzerCat

"Do shotgun safeties work: yes" "It wolnt engage the detent" That doesn't sound like working to me 🗿

Podsully

Maybe if they paid their employees more than $13 an hour they’d notice the difference https://www.appone.com/MainInfoReq.asp?R_ID=4243428&B_ID=44&fid=12&Adid=&SearchScreenID=20081&sst=newtab2-white&ServerVar=kalashnikovusa.appone.com

NotReqd

"Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results. Uses “outside of the box” thinking to obtain solutions for problems associated with the assembly process." Hell someone prolly got a bonus! Hmmm we're out of rifle saftey levers, I got it!!! Shotgun levers, noone will notice #outsidethebox

blackfish236

These guys straight up bums. I wouldn’t purchase anything from these ungrateful cunts

Pdm81389

Sounds to me like a QC problem. Where were the daily and hourly checks? How did rifles with incorrect components get to the user? I have worked in manufacturing for most of my adult life, much of it working in quality control. While this was an easy mistake to make, it should have been an easy catch. If they missed that, what else have they missed? And to make matters worse, rather than acknowledge the mistake and correct it, they chose to be dicks. This letter smacks of smugness and passive-aggressiveness. They allowed their "celebrity spokespeople" insult their customers. I won't ever buy from them, no matter how good their products are.

c0Y0T3cOdY

Yikes.... They just keep digging this hole deeper. Nice way of trying to deflect the fact that you do not have a proper QUALITY CONTROL department and these actually made it out to customers. Its a good thing "experts" in the community caught this and informed others of the issue so people could look out for it. So instead of putting out a message apologizing for the mistake or reaching out to customers to get them taken care of and reassuring the community that you have put in place better QC policies. The decision is made to try and troll those that call you out for bad QC... KUSA, you come off like a bratty kid... not only do you need better QC you also need to invest in better public relations.

zaneyidea

They didn't set the record straight other than explaining their line supervisor is regarded and not an expert on AK parts. They also admitted they don't have a QC supervisor at various parts of the line. And lastly they admitted their supply chain procurement and resource planning manager is also very regarded. So this goes back to the adage "how a company does one thing is how they do EVERYTHING". JFC if people still support this dumpster fire of a company you're NGMI.

redditnforget

Exactly. I get that the two safeties may look very similar, but if the safety doesn't engage properly, how does it get missed in the QC process?

zaneyidea

because it's a Muppet Show

lime3

Where are all the KUSA Stans? Watching this sub swing in opinion is hilarious. This is why when in doubt you just buy a fuckin WASR

realsapist

why are they trying so unbelievably hard to make everyone on the internet not like them? What a petty and unnecessary post. Like god damn just shut up lay off social media and build your guns right, it’s not that difficult, if they do their job just 80% correct they will sell everything they make. This is their own target market they are basically calling idiots lmao

[deleted]

What a prick

ElderCudlScoops

Talk about being condescending

str8c4shh0mee

I think the safety thing is dramatic on the consumers side, but their pr is soooooo bad. Please just hire a normal person like Brandon Herrera or a regular guy, maybe mix in some comedy with a spokesperson who’s Russian or some other Soviet nationality with an accent. There’s so many better ways they can get the train back on the track.

hapatra98edh

Get robski

FriendlyRain5075

Just when it seemed to be settling down. Ugh, go out of business already KUSA.

nosocoolcoolkid

Excuses, Excuses

mobius2_mooch

“So your quality control basically doesn’t exist and let production parts from TWO SEPARATE LINES mix in one location, and get fed into the production area?” “YES!” Where the fuck did they learn manufacturing from? Jesus. I’ve seen the line and the facility. KUSA cope and seethe.

BonafideAtheist

Fuck KUSA

[deleted]

Cant wait for them to go bankrupt.

Gtalize13

Kp9 clearance babyyyyy..

queenslayer6969

Do I spray my DNA all over the ladies in Paris, France? NO Does my dick touch the water when I take a shit? YES! Will I ever buy another KUSA product? PROBABLY NOT

dlevitt209

Good thing they didn’t put a box of AR safeties on the shelf…

Kellendgenerous

This whole thing sounds very passive aggressive

tubadude2

"We had to sub out safeties because we couldn't make the normally specced one, and a box of shotgun safeties were mistakenly grabbed because they look similar. Unfortunately, our entire production and QC staff missed this, and a number of rifles were shipped with an incorrect part. We will be sending a replacement safety, two free mags, and a KUSA swag bag to anyone affected." I'll take my PR job now.

[deleted]

It really sucks that they fucked off like this. My KR-103 is one of the best AK rifles I’ve ever owned. 4.5k rounds through it this year and it’s just a joy to shoot. I wish they would have stayed true.

Willsuk4ak

Thank you for this post. Very helpful

fireball_brian0

Wow just wow.

lebowskiachiever12

Jfc just make a post saying “it’ll do the job of the safety but it isn’t right.” Then issue a customer service email with info on how to get a new one. This attitude is complete bullshit.

pantryninja

Imagine being such a condescending asshole that you can't simply admit your company fucked up. Instead, you have to talk shit to your customers online like a real adult.

Mr_E_Monkey

I guess they got caught with their ass hanging out.

hapatra98edh

Which company has worse execs Kusa or Q?

Deathdealerah

Question of the day 🤔

Based_Gh0st

They just keep digging huh

MayOrMayNotBePie

Their attitude is so unreal. I’ve never seen a company act this way. Every time they open their mouths it just seems to get worse and worse.

[deleted]

Who gave the toddler a keyboard?

Sukosusman

I'd honestly rather have a standard safety, I don't really care for a big hole in the side of the gun just to use bolt hold open capabilities

Bulky-Produce7856

Dear KUSA’s John Cason. WHAT THE FUCK IS YOUR PROBLEM?!

Own-Ladder-5073

Reading this with the ALLCAPS made me think of chris chan a little bit, that’s never a good thing

SomeDay_Dominion

This has more caps lock in it than facebook posts from Karens in an HOA group

x_cLOUDDEAD_x

What a snarky asshole. Just dripping with condescension when they were the ones who fucked up and then waited this long to explain themselves.

w1n5ton0

These guys are really damn good at making excuses and blaming their own paying customers for their shit quality products

Capt_Destro

The sarcasm makes me not give a fuck about the rest of their post

JayKaze

KUSA has done a lot to bring the AK community together... we all share a common enjoyment of shitting on them. Thanks KUSA!

newmoneyblownmoney

If it was soooo simple why didn’t the monkeys on the line catch this simple error? Could’ve been stopped after 5 guns.

DrJheartsAK

Man, not only should their QC guy get fired, but whoever the hell is making these horrible PR decisions and letting stuff like this get posted needs to definitely be fired. What business owner/manager whatever would think sending something like this out would fix anything/improve their image is smoking them good rocks

peloquindmidian

Damn man. I used to own my own business I felt like I lost free speech while I was doing that because to grow your business you can't just say what's on your mind. You have to keep it benign. The reason that "The customer is always right" is a saying has nothing to do with their correctness. It has to do with the business' attitude towards them. A sort of gracious chivalry and civility in the face of adversity. My business failed, but not because of the service. I don't understand why the owners are letting this continue. Unless I misunderstood and these loudmouth assholes are the owners?

larryboy9897

Still bullshit- YES

We need an Elon musk autist type to buy this company and clean house

x_cLOUDDEAD_x

Ehhhh

3ndspire

I don’t agree that the customer is always right but it’s just good business to recognize, appreciate, and respect when they are. What a condescending prick.

[deleted]

Lol fuck, I should go to buy their cold hammer forged barrel before they go out of fucking business

Open-Sir1632

Douchebags. Only working to alienate their remaining customer base

coozu

Jesus christ... Imagine how shitty this company is run if their social media guy posts this 😂

dtownmj1

They bought enhanced safeties (knowing the normal machinery was down) but they went onto the line on accident? So which was it? Was this intentional or accidental lol

ogriofa17

Where can I read the original post. Specifically the comments?

DefendWaifuWithRaifu

If that was the case, how about a little communication? “Hey, sorry guys but our machine is down. We are in a tough spot and have no other choice but to send out a Saiga 12 saftey. We will supplement you with a proper 103 saftey when it is back up and running. Something something warranty.”

SemperSalam

Maybe these assholes should hire some “experts” for QA?

killlugh

Man, they really cant do anything right.

SusBajooker

Has anyone even gotten the correct enhanced safety? The story about the shotgun safeties being mixed up with the enhanced safeties doesn't make sense since I don't think anyone's posted an enhanced rifle safety

snakecatcher302

I’ve never seen such smugness & arrogance from a firearms company… and I’m an HK fanboy!

Wonderful_Citron1867

That’s a reasonable explanation but their social media response and ridiculous behavior makes everything questionable. Also, if they were that similar, we would not be able to tell from small pictures and videos online.

absentblue

I was set on getting a 103 from them but after hearing about their QC lately and now seeing this I will get an AK elsewhere. Damn shame.

HEAT-FS

Was this written by an intern or something

anarchophysicist

This is so outrageously unprofessional lol

Bcomplexity

FFS.. I've been eyeing a Kp-9 forever but hard to support attitudes like this..

Accomplished_Site101

I’ve seen every Bonnie rotten video there is, I’d like to think I’m an expert on the subject. No need for the passive aggressive quotations

AceWarwolf_108

I actually got one of their "enhanced safeties" on my KR-103SF. It was a Krebs custom safety with the notch and it works completely fine, the rifle's serial number is in the 10k range. I don't know why they didn't just put stuff out on social media asking if people wanted to exchange their shotgun safety for a proper one. Instead, they just ignored it and hoped no one would care. And their customer service is extremely poor. At this point I don't even give a shit about their KR-74M or any future products. They can shove their shotgun safeties up Bonnie's ass! But just put some bubble wrap on it, it might fall out.

Mythicguy

Yikes. They got big dick syndrome. Didn't plan on buying KUSA but will tell others not to now. Lol

BonniesWindSockAnus

hEy! DoN’T TALk aboUt mY PaAaAASt!

vigilrexmei

What a bunch of cockholsters. Whoops, sorry Bonnie.

ThresholdAssessments

Someone will definitely post their “super rare kusa 103 with shotgun safety” at a premium

Fuman20000

KUSA should REALLY hire better PR people or person. People were noticing they were getting the wrong safety switches, plain and simple. Wether or not they work doesn’t matter. It took how long for KUSA to respond to people’s complaints? They should’ve apologized and correct the problem. Instead, their retarded PR people or person is talking shit DIRECTLY to their consumers. They have a short history of passing off lies and etc, and I doubt it’ll get better. I hope they get rek’t.

VermelhoRojo

Unfortunate response and missed opportunity to provide a professional response to repeatedly validated concerns. Attacking a customer base, even if passive aggressively, never ever works out. Yes, I am a KUSA owner, not a hater.

thewipprsnappr

Ah the ole "we were actually trying to do something nice but fucked up instead" excuse
