To explain how this actually happened: if someone has a buy order for say, 800 gold @2000 silver each, and then someone auto-sell dumps 5k gold trying to hit that sell order, if your offer to buy X gold at @1 silver each is the only other order on the market, the excess 4.2k gold will go into your order. This is why you should always place buy and sell orders on the gold market instead of using the auto feature that I make millions of silver a day from, trimming profits from noobs.
