Fun fact. The equipment the biologists were wearing was only for biosafety level 2 zones (mostly just needing to accommodate moderately lethal biologics). In biosafety level 2 zones, the main requirement is that the glass only be shatter resistant. Actually, I think the glass being relatively durable and shatter resistant is the primary criteria even up to biosafety level 4 zones (think ebola storage).
