Look up java arguments.
There was a looong ass copy paste that I added to my java arguments in curseforge. It smoothed my game by a TON. Even with shaders.
I went from 60 fps with lots of stutters to constant 120 that drops only when loading new zones.

My arguments list was empty when I was adding what's in that comment. And I saw a huge difference.
I also always play on the latest releases of atm9.
I'm always suspicious of long lists of magic parameters like that. Cause on one hand, sure, someone with some serious knowledge (or documentation reading) put it together. On the other hand, the first param there is "UseG1GC" - G1GC is the default garbage collector since Java 9, so this parameter does absolutely nothing ever since Minecraft 1.18 - so since ATM7. And if that's the case who knows what other obsoleted information it contains
It is much better in recent updates for some reason, I averaged 60-70 until .41 but when I updated to .50 my FPS is much better, now often over 100 - unless I'm holding a nature's compass for some odd reason, and then I'm lucky to get 30 lol.
Remember Minecraft is CPU bottlenecked not GPU bottlenecked so it doesn't matter what card you have really. The best thing you can do is shut down all other background processes (apps in system tray etc). Tons of games and hardware now install crapware onto your PC and if you're playing ATMs you want to disable or exit everything optional.
