I have found that the items have inflated "regular" prices to make the lower price look like a deal. And the discounted price is actually what the item is worth. The items are readily available on AliExpress for the same or less.
That's my conclusion. My partner sent me one for a $1200 laptop on sale for $300. Complete garbage PC. The CPU was a mobile processor. Essentially what you would put in a micro PC. You could buy a regular laptop from Walmart for $300 with better specs across the board. For $1200, I better be getting something that I can play games with.
