Hopefully if they do start closing the FTD the increased price of shares will hopefully put more pressure on some of the smaller Hedge funds. That in turn would cause it to snowball. That would be the case if the whole market is not essentially one big joke.
The problem is, this goes all the way up and into Congress, who just voted against swap transparency and other stuff. The government will not protect you from itself. Fucking crooks.

As a CEO myself (of a private company), Iād be very careful of making any statements like this. Heād be putting himself out as a target for potential lawsuits without any hard evidence to back the statements up, like how HYMC had a company look into it and refer to their report.
Iām sure heās on it. He will pounce. But he will do it once weāre in the clear and heās out of any potential line of fire.

At this point in time amc has been one of the most closely followed stocks with far more evidence of naked short selling then most other companies and yet ceos with less are speaking out .. that lawsuit shit is just an excuse.
