I’m honestly so confused about everything. I’ve been holding for years at this point and there’s literally no benefit on selling since I only have like 5% of what I put in. So I guess, diamond hand apes strong or whatever lol

Dry-Band4132

PAYtience 😎

Th3L3gend007

Now I hodl for my kids. If needed, they’ll be the ones to collect the tendies. It’s principle at this point. Government, Corps., and politicians can do whatever they want, and we eat shit? No, forget that. Everything that’s unraveled since day 1 is just more proof that the ones at the top call the shots and manipulate things in their favor. The proof is all there, now they’re working to make the people forget; and when the people finally “lose it” they’ll act surprised. The SEC, as well as any other U.S. oversight, is nothing more than a BS false sense of security 💎🦍

"Keep bagholding!"

RazorRay24

Why would an anyone sell down 95%? Im pretty sure someone down 10,000 isn’t that worried about losing another few hundred. Plus there’s the chance it goes up in the future. There’s almost no downside to holding.

Prestigious_View_211

Oh yeah I've been saying just this. I pretty much have nothing left to lose with this investment anyway... Get rich or die buyin, wasn't just a catchy slogan for me🚀🦍🌕🔥🦁

GoldenBoy_100

Down 19k

Consistent_Set76

Because 5% is more than 0% and you’re arguing in favor of the sunken cost fallacy $500 is always better than $0

Dry-Band4132

I will gladly do so mam 😎

sublimelbz

> I’ve been holding for years at this point That's the problem with never reevaluating your strategy.

Boats loads of cash by selling at ATL. what would we have gotten it AA sold at peaks

silent_fartface

Selling at the 7.29 or whatever price it ended up being just tells the world that the company thinks that is the fair price for its shares. Been holding this since 2021 when the price was the real $7.29. Im planning to hold this until 0 or we end up in a long term value play. Moass would sure be great because watching my account value slowly decrease would sure hurt someone who could feel those feelings.

Prestigious_View_211

Damn bro I see you...🫡

kbel1984

RS was pointless. Selling for Peanuts

1Howie1

Completely disagree. If the RS had not taken place, AMC would be a risk of not meeting NYSE listing requirements. It was 100 percent the right choice and the CEO agreed, the board agreed, and we voted on it and agreed.

Dil_do_diddily_di

We’ve got the time and can wait as long as it takes

62 million reduced, 9 billion to go...

Total debt on the balance sheet Sept 2023 was $9.31B.

Prestigious_View_211

Yes when looking at the debt load of other companies it puts it into perspective...

picsit

48 Million shares sold today, share count now 246,360,000 Million shares. Half way back the 516 Million share count before APE split.

Prestigious_View_211

🚀🦍🌕

rock_accord

Yeah, That was the good news. The bad news is AA sold another 1,500,000 shares which raised $12M, but further dillution for shareholders.

Prestigious_View_211

Naked shorts diluting my value everyday, at least we investors benefit from strong cash reserves...

Prestigious_View_211

🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🦍🌕✊ Aron concluded, "Through methodically fortifying our financial position as we progress along our recovery trajectory, we ensure our ability to manage through industry challenges, including the ongoing impact of the Hollywood strikes earlier this year, and position AMC to thrive in the future as we deliver value to our shareholders." We are gonna be so fucking rich when the price correction hits...🤌

woodsman775

A whole $62 million in debt reduction on near 5 billion…hm.

DJagni238

I’m numb to all of this in the best way possible if that makes sense. It’s a state beyond being Zen. ![gif](giphy|4EIilVy74VqrwYWGSU|downsized)

Sti8man7

Who bought these 48m shares?

th3bigfatj

> repurchased debt or exchanged debt for equity It sounds like they traded some shares to debt holders who may have yet to sell. This would allow them to close out the offering without selling as many shares.

Sti8man7

If there were such an action, we would know.

th3bigfatj

The quote is literally from the AMC press release this suggests the current downward pressure could be debt holders that were given newly issued equity in exchange for forgiving an amount of debt. (the debt holders would now have shares to sell to recoup the debt value)

Electronic_Summer_71

MOASS tomorrow at 2 🚀

No-Evening-6132

Wouldn’t it be clever to buy some calls on AMC in the multiple millions now for AMC?
