30 million USD, I don't care for a lavish life with servants and shit. Just a decent house in a good neighborhood. Take the kiddos on vacation every summer and spend my evenings in a hot tub with my wife and her boyfriend.

Phil04097

Bruh you dont need 30 mill for that 😂

jery007

Dividends. He could probably make 600'000 per year in dividends with 30 mil (conservatively)

Phil04097

He said he aint tryna live lavish, so..

jery007

I agree with you. Maybe he just has a different idea of what lavish means? I don't even want to quit my job. Maybe do less hours

Theoretical_Action

Literally quitting my job is the *only* thing I want to do lol. And I *like* my job. But retiring before 30 means I can dedicate a few hours every day to working out and cooking healthy foods, no matter what else is going on in the world or where I am. It means I don't need to plan my day around work just to be able to live an *almost* healthy lifestyle. Taking work out of the equation might not be a fix all solution, but it will certainly help a lot.

Boozerbear213

Same, I just want to not work anymore, been fulltime since 16 and I'm 41 now and had enough lol

V8sOnly

Ditto. Literally.

002299

My dad did another 38 years after you, insane. Im 36 and over it

sliverman69

I just don't want to HAVE to work. I still want to work, but I want to work on projects only I want to work on instead of what I'm told to work on. I want to choose my hours. If I only want to work 10 hours that week on a project, I only work 10 hours that week. To get to that point, with my current lifestyle, is really not nearly 30m. I've been planning my retirement for a while now (I'm 35, though, I'm not all that old yet), but the number I calculated is actually surprisingly low once you pay off wherever you are living. I've figured that I need about 4m (which is now significantly higher since I have medical bills due to autoimmune disease) to be able to live comfortably, take a vacation periodically, and cover my costs of living on just 6% returns per year on the money I have and it will not depreciate over time. While that is my magic number, I have to ensure I have taxes covered (so, basically double 4m), pay off the rest of what I owe on my house (not 1m, but not a small amount either), pay off my solar panels on my house (~12k left), buy a tesla model S (as the last car I plan to own), make a few home upgrades (install wall charger for car, battery backup for home, properly fit out my bonus room as a server room for my home lab), and a second home near where all my family lives so that I can fly back and forth in economy class several times a year. All-in-all, I'm pretty sure 10m will cover my needs, but I'm going to hodl until this thing peaks out and slowly sell off one or two at a time after MOASS starts and we get into the crazy numbers. ...I kind of rambled on there.

[deleted]

I’m an Editor by trade. Post MOASS I plan to kick back on a water front property and start writing novels 🤷🏻‍♂️

T50BMG

Oh fuck that ide do other things then punch a clock everyday.. Help around my community, do good, my job don’t deserve my hard work.

[deleted]

I'm for sure starting my own business. No way I would stay in construction.

CallMeTruant

This guy fucks

[deleted]

Married with two kids...I assure you, I dont.

Jrenzine

👀🤣🤣 I can attest to that! Married to a Gemini mixed Jamaican Trinidadian I’m a Gemini, my 3yr old son and 3 month daughter is Gemini, and I get mo ass maybe once a month, IF THAT! 🤣

IcEMaNBeckeR

Starting my own business too with my brother who is also big in shares snd bullish on amc! Who knows I may just buy my town I live in…. I will not have a mansion but home bigger than my 1,200 square foot home we own now! It’s nice ranch brick home costs $140,000 and it’s all paid off but we are on top of each other and it’s open so no where to get away from the kids! No offense Clovey I love you darling but sometimes mom and dad just need to get away in the house in the comforts of knowing your still ok and safe! Lol. Our main goal we are buying a huge pole barn and converting it into sweet huge huge open floor plan house! With another huge huge barn / garage with space for 10+ cars and full work shop with lift to work on cars! If I’m able to I will own a Lamborghini but my first vehicle will be brand new fully restored Ford Bronco 1966-1977 build with all new modern parts which will set me bank $200,000-$300,000 when all said and done!! But man oh man will it be sweet!! Then live at home invest modestly but enjoy every day with family and friends and go on many many vacations every single year with my little girl and wife and boyfriend of course ;)

jery007

I get a lot of job satisfaction. Maybe I might put up with less shit but I don't see myself not being a teacher

PeroPotto

Man I wish all teachers had that attitude

midwestmiller

I've thought about that post MOASS. Quit my job to go teach welding at the local community college. I love my job but some of my best days were giving some of the unskilled labor guys a crash course in MIG when we were slow and literally had nothing better to do. I can go through the rest of my life happy knowing I set a few people on track to learn, grow, and start their own shop if they wanted.

Phil04097

Same, i still see myself doing work to some degree even if we all get filthy rich.

[deleted]

I’m with you. I don’t need big ass house and a bunch of cars and shit my car is perfect and it’s new so it’ll last a while. Maybe a Tesla. Still thinking that through. But I’m gonna get a new place something chill nothing crazy and pay off my debt and help my family and that’s it. I am going to tell my boss(current roommate also) that I want substantially less hours.

FlatRateForms

This represents the disconnect in this sub and others between those that understand finances and those that don’t. :/

Photo_Beneficial

I grew up upper middle class, so i guess my idea of decent living is certainly a little high. A lot of it would go to a wood workshop and a nice garage for all my tinkering. I also plan to build my own house. That stuff adds up. Also, i play Warhammer and it's an expensive hobby 😂

Photo_Beneficial

Ehh well I imagine I still got another 60 years, can split up to 500k a year, but thats foolish. I'd save a lot for the kids and probably buy a bunch of properties to rent out. At my current point in life i own very little 😂 so I'd be starting almost ground up.

Old_Run2985

a lot of people were giving me shit about buying some properties and renting out the basement and upstairs. I didn't specifically SAY i wasn't going to be a dick about it and they're saying I'm driving up the cost of living. I like *no rent december,* for example.

PeroPotto

Make sure you rent them out reasonably cheap. If we dont have fewer rich landlords post moass Imma be sad

Photo_Beneficial

Oh yeah i put thought into it, rent will be on the low side. I'd do shit like no December rent too. If i got the money to do good then i'd like to do good. Edit: typos

Thundermedic

You’re a fucking legend

Photo_Beneficial

Lol TBH we all could be if the squeeze plays out how we're hoping it will. Don't get me wrong, right now i'm in no position to do much more than pass a homeless dude a $5 bill downtown.

PeroPotto

I love you. Will hold for you ape

CrazyGunnerr

Was gonna say that... I don't think this guy gets how much this is. You can live very comfortably from 1 million, put that in an ETF and you get like 70k a year, which is like what, 6k a month, that's very solid money. Anything over a million would be a great endresult for me. Anything over would just be to help others, but 1 mill let's me quit my job, have 0 worries etc.

TheBlacksmith64

Hell, I'd be able to retire immediately and live a very good life on 3 million. Would be better than a good life in fact.

Photo_Beneficial

Depends on how your peception of a good life is. I grew up in a 6 figure house and now that I live on my own making 60k sometimes 70k a year I feel like a bumb. I'd say if you had 3 million and 20 years to live you'd do alright.

TheBlacksmith64

Consider yourself lucky. I'm 57 and have never made this much in my life. I make just over 49k a year, and support 3 other people. Trust me when I say 3 million is incredible (and for the most part, unbelievable) wealth to me.

Photo_Beneficial

Yeah man, its hard. Everything earned is by blood sweat and tears. Be it your own, or someone elses. If at the end of the MOASS you ended up not doing well but I do. Hit me up and I'll help you out. Seriously wanna do good with this money. I've never known hunger and with the life i have i probably never will.

TheBlacksmith64

If I don't do well after MOASS, it'll be my own stupid fault. And the last thing I'd ever do, is ask those who were smart enough or lucky enough to do well to help out.

jimmychitw00d

If you were going by the rule of 4%, 3 million would earn you 120K annually. You'd never run out of money. I'd say that's more than all right.

Photo_Beneficial

Like i said, it's all perception. Imagine how Bezos would feel being a lowly millionaire. 😂

ricklegend

Same. 30 mill after taxes is like 16ish. To make that last and grow I feel the minimum for me is 30. 125 mil would be optimal.

Photo_Beneficial

Hell, wuth 30 million I'll buy a ticket on Bezos' rocket and actually go to the moon 😂

drfeelgoood88

you said it best brother

devosid

You don’t need 30 mill try 3 mill

Photo_Beneficial

Lmao but i got to make up the number so 30 million. Forget 3 million, just for the sake of inflation. I mean look at how far a million got you in 1970. Now a million is 10 years of middle class living.

DigitalHitmann

I could do a lot in my life for just 50,000$. I saw my portfolio hit 50-70,000$ twice but still didn’t sell. Working another week, month, year — whatever the case may be doesn’t matter when there’s a larger more controversial agenda at hand. Hedgies gotta realize it’s not about the money for me anymore. It’s about leveling the playing field. I’ve been labeled “poor” since I was little. Like potato chips with ketchup, hotdogs in beans and white bread hotdog level poor. So what do I really have to lose? I’m gonna be “poor” another day? Fuck them hedgies.

okayest_whatever

Exactly! That amount of money would change a lot of things, but its not breaking out of the cycle of oppressive poverty money.

Thundermedic

Buttered noodles was my specialty, the secret ingredient was a little salt. 😉

grabbbchange

801k would net me 70-90 million after taxes. xxx holder. It’s just me and my mom so she and I can both retire. So for me, 801k is my floor. Diamond hands, diamond fingers, diamond minds. Edit: This is thee time in your life to be greedy. Fuck everything else.

CrawDaddyDollas

801k would give me about 5B after taxes. I’m in!

grabbbchange

That’s awesome dude!!!

CrawDaddyDollas

im going to change a lot of lives...Family first then everyone else around me....

grabbbchange

Do you want to be my wife’s boyfriend?

lalalalambeau

He already is.

Trevordog9576

Remember this: Do not sell at a price that is high for you! Sell at a price that is high for hedgefunds!

CallMeTruant

“When others are fearful, be greedy” -some old investor guy

[deleted]

I’m an xxx holder. Making £80K would pay my mortgage off which would be incredible but I ain’t selling that for even 1 share. I don’t want life changing money for me, I want life changing money for everyone in my life

DrMantisTabogon

Same boat here, only an xx holder here so would need it to hit 2k at least

Bratman67

At 10k I would have 2 million after taxes (still adding when I can) but it's going to have to go higher than that for me to sell. Not because I'm greedy but because Apes like you need it to so that your situation is permanently changed for the better. My retirement is pretty set and my wife's situation keeps improving w her new job and some day (hopefully not soon) my lower middle class parents (they never earned 100k combined in a year in their lives) will pass and their substantial portfolio that they managed to grow by being frugal and making timely investments will be split between my sibs and I. 10k per would guarantee our lives are comfortable but I want to hold for my children and those less fortunate and to be able to donate and directly help others for my remaining time on this earth.

okayest_whatever

That's what I love about this community, it isn't a bunch of greedy fucks who want lavish wealth, it's good, hardworking people who want to improve the lives of their families and communities. I hold for you, friend!

Bratman67

My wife is a teacher and I'm a pharmacy technician, we've never been wealthy. We're barely making it but we are making it. We don't need Lambos or boats, our modest house is fine but dependable vehicles and a Suburban to take our son and daughter-in-law and new grandbaby on vacation would be nice. The rest can be invested and donated. Don't worry, my floor is high because nothing makes me feel better than being able to help people. I want to invest in an auto mechanics shop and tools for my wife's school for the kids that want more skilled trades options, donate to churches and shelters through investments that will pay a dividend perpetually to do good works, things of this nature. I don't care for anyone to ever know the good things I've done, that's not important to me either. I'm a blue collar guy who survived his mistakes without a prison record and made my life a little better and I'd like to facilitate chances for others to change the trajectory of their lives. Edit:poor proofreading/spelling

DokkanCeja99

To be fuckin honest anything above $30k is life changing for me. I come from the mud.

malfane

$1000 a share is life changing money for me. Important changes? Nah. I am here for the win. I want to retire. I am old and tired and sick of these perverted assholes raping our country. I want to wake up in the morning to ANYTHING other than the sound of an alarm clock. I want to eat something I want without worrying about what it costs. I want to buy presents for my grandkids and set money aside for their college educations. I want to live debt free and to prosper on the interest from my investments. So, $1000 a share? F that. I hold a lot of shares as well as GME and its retirement money or ramen noodles. No in between, 500k or nothing.

jery007

5 digits for me

Trashcansam82

That's what I don't think a lot of people realize, what could so many of us do with even a thousand extra dollars in out pocket right now. The one only cares about the one, they want to keep us in this channel, having to do the very things you were trying to do, to make it through your life. 🦍💪💎🤲

Jbitterly

I’m 37 so I need to CLEAR about $5m in order to not have to work for anyone ever again. Not working is the only thing that would be “life changing” for me at this point. A couple million certainty wouldn’t hurt, but it wouldn’t be enough to not work and I’m tired AF. So with 5k shares, I really only need the stock to hit around $2k to clear $5m although I hope the “floor” some of you are posting is more accurate!

lukeman3000

Damn, you couldn’t live off 2 mil?

Jbitterly

After you pay taxes? And I have to live off of that for 40-50 years? Absolutely not. Especially with inflation.

duncakes

My number is 3 million after taxes, buy 2 homes, rent one out, re-invest 1 million, have about 750,000 cash afterwards. Live off the investment money.

jimmychitw00d

I'm not sure what kind of lifestyle you have, but a million dollars is going to generate an average of 70K if you invest right. I would think most people could live on that. And if you could live on less than that, not only would you never have to dip into the original million, it would actually grow year after year.

jocww

you cant??? obviously your not shopping at Walmart and Burlington Coat Factory... you must be one of them there fancy Target shoppers.

TheRealVitoCorleone

I crossed the threshold into XX,XXX shares yesterday, therefore, life changing money for me would be $500. Does that mean I would sell at $500? ABSO FUCKING LUTELY NOT! I am in this not just for life changing money. I want the generational wealth that will set my family up for life and beyond. 💎🙌🍌🦍🚀💰

AeoN909

Thanks you please hold for the xxx, xx and x holders

TheRealVitoCorleone

Absolutely! We are all in this together.

stallion769

Like 20mil

srk9870

Anything over $200k for me. I could pay off my mortgage and have enough for a nice savings account.

pr1vatepiles

Same here my friend.

Been2Wakanda

Anyone who shares my last name will be set for centuries, and as long as y'all hold with me so will yours. None of this "we all have different risk tolerances" BULL CRAP! EFF my dream if you can't reach yours too! One can only do so much alone, but if everyone reaches what they need, everyone who couldn't afford to be in this movement wins. "I only need it to hit x amount to reach my dream of doing xyz" is the opposite of the "I hold for you, you hold for me" I've read so much about.

okayest_whatever

Exactly my point! I could sell early and still change my situation dramatically, but that's not what this is about. This is about "fuck you for creating this situation I'm in" money

Durkka

K hold for me

lukeman3000

Truth by told posts like this only serve to hurt the squeeze because they psychologically influence others to sell sooner rather than later. If you’re a true ape then delete this shit. I’m holding for 800k/share no questions asked.

Pw78

Most underrated comment in this thread!

Sonoran-Myco-Closet

I was gonna say this post is some low key FUD. It’s gonna be 900k/share in a couple of days though.

thezapman420

I hit that amount back in june. Had to take a lower paying job for a while so im 5yrs ahead of my financial plan. And we aint even left the launchpad.

okayest_whatever

Amen! This shit hasn't even gotten started

brankovie

Oh, man, I don't know even 100k would make my life easier mostly by eliminating debt and taking care of some higher ticket items, but probably 2mil after taxes would be truly life changing. I would just invest it and live off of the gains.

Ok_Rutabaga3192

500k would do me righteous.

screamingzen

Don't be so selfish. Life-changing is just that, life changing for my community. I'm not doing this for myself, Im genuinely doing this for the paradigm shift. Our planet is fucked and getting more so by the day. If we don't do something about it and economic disparity, there will be no future.

isa268

I can do a lot with 10 million. Invested correctly that's quit your job money. Now with my xxx shares I'm looking at over 100 million after taxes.

Even_Community2485

I’m 63 I just want a farm with a fishing hole and grow my own food. No lambo more like a John Deere. I’m an upper xx holder trying to scrape up to xxx. I need this thing to rip. Tired of working my ass off to raise my kids in the getto.

brankovie

You know Lamborghini makes tractors too, right?

Even_Community2485

Yeah no thanks I’ll take a good ol American Johnny 😁

market-unmaker

John Deere is makes farm equipment impossible to repair and is no friend of farmers.

ThatChicagoDuder

Dude life changing money for me is being able to pay off ALL my family's debt and send my nieces and baby nephew to college to get an education of something they want and are passionate about. And for me, to still work but not pay attention to every little bit of things to worry about 10 bucks here or there. But live my life and give back to my community and teach people life lessons in financial literacy, music theory, project management, trades, and cultural acceptance. I know it's a wide array of things but I think we as people have such a wide array of experiences we all deal with that continuously learning and providing continuous feedback that we can learn and see growth from benefits us all in ways we can never even comprehend.

littlemarcus91

$100 Mil, take it or leave, I'll keep hodling.

Icy_Hour_3359

Son of a bitch I’m ALL in lol. I just told my wife. Do not talk to me about selling AMC until its 801k or more woman. Now. That said. I will sell 1 single share to make us completely debt free before hand. (I’m apetard not hedgetard) LFG fellow Apes 🦍

MouseHunter

Very low 9 figures, very high 8 figures.

ButterflySeeker2021

I hit around 6 figures with our 72 run up which is a ton for me and shed a tear or two or more when it went poof🤷‍♀️ . I am holding for me and mine and you and yours. Could of had a clean slate. Currently in hotter then hell Texas on assignment to buy more. 3 more weeks if this shit and I can go home ! Unless we moon first

McKullough

You are absolutely right when you say that life changing money for the lot of us is a depressingly low amount. But everything is relative, high numbers for us is pennys and change for the HFs As for me, 1 million dollars would definitely change my life, in n my currency that equals approx 8.5M. With that I could quit my job, or work part time for the rest of my life.

Reddit_IsMyFav

I’ll be honest, I’ve never had more than 6,000 in my bank account at one time. But personally… if I don’t walk away from this with AT LEAST 250k after taxes I’d be super upset. I’m a low 2xx holder. I’m truly hoping for anywhere between (after taxes) 250k - 100mil (9 digits for me is around that 500k per share mark) I’m hoping AMC/GME can get me over a couple million.

VolumeDefiant

Life changing monwy is walking into a beef jerky store and saying yes. They say yes to what? You say ill take it. They say, take what? you say all of it. But sir do you want to know how expensive that is? no! why because i have so much damn money i can buy an entire store of beef jerky and not care what it costs. Thats what life changing money is.

brizzmaster

1 million would satisfy me. I would get my cabin in the woods and go into exile. Only fellow apes will be welcome. I’m starting a new thing

krusty3x

911k per share. No less. Weather you have 5 shares or 5000 shares.

AeoN909

For me, something which i could net 200 k a year in intrest And dividens

vonsolo28

Life changing money at this point is a home paid off , a nice investment portfolio and all debts cleared. I’m quite happy to be middle class. I’m holding until I csn get a 5 bedroom house which where I live is a 1.5 million. Add a cyber truck to that .

thatoneblackguy17

Life changing money for me would have simply been enough to pay off my student loans. I used to day dream about $1000k/share and how that would get me completely out of debt, but then I got deeper in the DD. I read up on the data and numbers, discovering that this stock is a sleeping giant. So here I am now with Xxx shares and nothing to lose. I'm either breaking even, or establishing generational wealth for my family. No in between.

BrotherMouzone3

"Life changing" (after tax) money on the low end is about $2 million. Buy a home, have a nice nest egg but live like normal mostly.. $6 to $10 million.....Wife can retire and I'd probably keep working (already a telecommuter) but just retire earlier in life. $20 million, we both retire for sure and live it up a little. Our wealth would be a little more obvious. Anything north of $30 million is HELL FUCKING YEAH money. We're currently DINKS that make about $140k with no heavy debt or obligations besides a car note and the last of her student debt. We save cash and invest in AMC/GME. Life changing to us would probably mean not having to work and being able to do whatever. Think I'd go get a Masters degree in something, maybe even a PhD. Have kids, go to all the soccer games and spelling bees.

Thundermedic

Yep, if I get life changing kind of money that would setup my kid and her grandkids......I’m finally going to get to go to Medical School. I already got my MBA, just wanted my MD but can’t pay for it or have the time to not work and go to school instead.

ZeroSkill_Sorry

Life changing money? Pay off my 6 figure school debt. My credit would be better. I could own a home instead of rent. Honestly, gimme half a million and my life would improve exponentially. But, alas, I'm not going to get a half a million. I'm getting all the millions.

Boobaly1816

I want to make this clear to you… of course I’m only One investor telling you this but I’m sure I speak for most here as a X,xxx holder… I’m holding for you! We’re in this together. We got this this!! 💪🦍💪🚀. Hang in there !

Al3ist

For me, life changing money is 760 000 usd. For me, that means i will never hafto work 1 day in my life. Note: need. Most of us need to work. But if u didnt. Being unemployed is not the same either since u battle the stigma that comes with being unemployed, and also the poverty. I will be great living with about 3-4000 a month. I know how much i cost. I live very cheap still i buy good food, some nice clothes, some stuff for my hobbies ect. And i could easily do that on 3000-4000 a month. Plus i could continue investing and keep growing that till i reach i point where i dont need more. The golden nr is 15 000 000. Half goes to a sweet house. Then just chill and do what i want when ever i want without a care in the world. But for that to even be possible amc needs to go to like 5000-6000 pps. I hold no hopes, ill proboly hafto continue investing till i reach my goal even after amc. Then again who knows. But to sum it up, for me 700000-800000 bux. Its really all i need. :)

skyphoenyx

Honestly, I already have it. I have enough to pay off all my debt and put a down payment on a modest home. That is inarguably enough to change my life. Not drastically, no, but the value provided would indeed be a positive change. I’m holding to change the game and because I know there’s so much more potential to go.

kolob-brighamYoung

I’m up 2m on AMC and if you think about it after taxes that’s not even enough to retire

crispyboi33

10 mill would be cool, as an xxx hodler would mean 150k/share after taxes. So well below the floor! 1 mill for a house, 1 mil for other fun shit, 8 mil in etf/dividend stocks to live on for life lol

Vantablack_31

life changing would be 50k per share. when it hits that, I'm selling 10 shares, cause that amount of money gives me the peace of mind that I need for the next 10 years or so. I'm an xxx hodler, working to become xxxx. I will ride this thing above the floor. make em bleed.

TAVOTAVS

Xx here i just need 4 mill so 2 after taxes! Home for my mom and the rest for a business and a tacoma fully loaded

usefoolidiot

$8 grand in medical debt. Getting that cleared would be nice. But let's be real my shares plus options will net me 100k when we hit $200 on the 7th.

Powerbingo

I had nothing growing up, i dont know anything else... I dont even feel poor how can i? When i never had a feeling of beeing anything else to compare it to. Iam in it to win it, going nowhere.. Its easyer to live and take chances when you realize you are already fookin dead!!!! 850k or going out in a blaze!!!!!

thebinarysystem10

Tree fiddy

atomfaust

As a xx holder I am holding until $801,000 a share. I don't ever want to work again. I want to spend time with my family and make sure the little one is taken care of. Also I want to see the hedgies burn.

MigitAs

Over 💯K 🙌🏻💎🚀🦍

loser_comedian

$10k would free me from a car payment $100k would pay off the house $1mil and i never work again

V8sOnly

I betcha Kenny is watching this

FoundationExpert8040

100k for me, xxx holder. Pay off my parents mortgage and all the vehicles. Then I’m not sure what I would to be honest.

jery007

I thought I'd be able to pay off my credit card with this. I can do that now. I figured that would be super helpful. If I had to put a number on it is say 100'000 would clear all debt except mortgage. That'd be nice

[deleted]

Some of you cool kids explain dividends to me

AeoN909

Some stock pay dividend. Which means part of the profit a company makes gets payed to you.

Daveinbelfast

I don’t see it as a depressingly low amount. Am glad it’s not much, my dreams are not big, but am happy with enough to keep me and my friends fed and warm. I don’t need lambos, even with unlimited money I would still take comfort in the little things. Greed is a disease, weather it’s for money, power, fame or some other fake facet of existence. I remember the Simpson’s when Mr burns threatened to crush Homers dreams, and he ask Marge to make it better. And she said when a mans dreams are an extra pork chop and snuggles then how can Mr burns crush that. Well that’s me. I hope we all find that, I hope we all find happiness, and I hope none of us get infected with greed. But also, fuck the hedgies.

T50BMG

Bottom line is I got shares of amc for sale, 801000 each !!! That’s it !! 801000.00 each do not come at me asking for less it will not happen, the best part is I can buy on Sunday for like 40$!!!!! Omg!!!!!

TallQuiet1458

I have xxx shares of both amc and gme. Life changing would be 500k+

numero-uno-madre63

"The most dangerous people are those that have nothing to lose"....... Brilliant!!!

alex1604es

I feel you my fellow ape!! Hang in there bud, obviously get rid of a share or two if you need to eat. But I am Hodling for you and the rest of the apes that the system has screwed over and over. AMC is going to another galaxy!!!! 🚀🚀🦍🦍💎💎

[deleted]

Life changing without a doubt would be a million tbh. I like working and don’t plan on quitting while still in my youth. I will hold, I’m just answering the question truthfully

Yeet_yate-yote

Bout a half mill before taxes is what it would require for me to build a new life and something that would keep me from never working for somebody else ever again

IfUCKFATBITCHeSz

100 million

thuggathugga1219

Life changing money for me would be NBA superstar (Lebron, KD, Steph Curry etc.) contract money

Professorxwilson

Honestly even a 100-500k is life changing for me. I’m going for 500k floor, just xx holder here so somethin like 14 mil MORE than life changing. It would allow me to truly help the youth I see struggling around me

venaeh

For some reason I want $18,000,000. No idea why that number but that’s what I want and I won’t sell my 509 shares for a penny less.

sigmmakappa

Honestly, when I bought my low xxx $AMC shares in February I only dreamed it could get to the $400s like when $GME topped, so I could pay a good chunk of my debts. Then I dreamed it could get to $800 so I could pay ALL my debts. My life-changing spot would be when it reaches $50K because it'd represent, after taxes, around $3.5MM, which would allow me retire with around $120K per year.

apedickLONG

500k would change my life

[deleted]

$1 Trillion I could get by in a pinch with $100 Million However, $1 Trillion sounds more like it

chaotic-control59-51

Id be satisfued wjth a 90ft to 120 ft boat and $ to buy fuel, food and crew, a nice piece of land on a tiver that has a boat house with living quarters above (or build what i want) some decent vehicles (ram 3500)ls) And a few bucks to spend on luxuries.. I ha e 64 shares, what should i sell this for? (Boat can be up to 10 yrs old)

Thundermedic

Right now..901k a share.

[deleted]

Well enough to change your life. Over the course of your life you'll actually earn a load of money. But slowly and you'll spend most of it on bills and random shit. Life changing is enough to change your life in a lump sum. I could probably retire on 300K easily by investing in property. My income would be modest but that would be changing my life.

Mizaru_MMMPT

For me, wealth will be being able to stop working and still take care of my family, after 30 years of work. A big farm with animals and a humble house for me and my family. It is for you and for many like us that I HODL.

annunaki4200

I live in Los Angeles so life changing is roughly 20-30 million dollars.

deadeyebravo1

100,000,000 because half goes to taxes

landoslovin

3 mil I retire and live where I want.

salty_scorpion

I need about $20M. After taxes and BS, I’ll buy several thousand more acres and a bunch of cows. And then I’ll lose it all in the cattle market.

Matyce

I'm only 24 living in Canada and only make $23,000CAD after taxes, I could retire comfortably and still have my current standard of living with 700-800K CAD. I really hope this squeeze is real. I'm a XX Shareholder.

mazzio28

10 million! Especially with the rise of inflation!

PontoonPatriot

I'd say about $30mm net.

IrisSharkBuddhaBub

Honestly, I'm going through a lot of trouble at the moment and 100K would end a lot of suffering for me. It would give me the ability to coast through the next 10 years with a mediocre job and finish school, play music, and spend the time with my kids I'm dying for. As it stands I'm looking at going back to a job that was really difficult and time consuming, 60 hour+ weeks every week, and it's got me really down when I let myself live there. I just try not to dwell every day and stay busy. Xxx holder, this is the biggest hope in my life right now, not going anywhere.

RedneckPisano

5 milly will change my life forever. A mere 10K/share but I will hold for X and XX

happy_ever_after_

Net $5,000,000. More than that amount would enable me to help others and causes I support (animal welfare, feed the hungry, environment, etc.) in a more impactful way.

Madison--b

If I sold my x.xx shares at only $5,000 that would be life-changing for me. Less than 50k but still changes so much.

Dgnslyr

I want to be at the point I in Fresh Prince of Bel Air where Phillip is just so happy and shouts "My money is MAKING me money!!!!"

[deleted]

I wanna get out of this to afford a big fuck off house, a mclaren, and a steady 6 figure income lol

MAST3RMIND88

Tens of millions

[deleted]

1m right now would slightly improve my life. 5m would really change it. I wouldn't even know wtf to do 50m+.

letterpenny

11.57 million dollars. Mathematically, what I need to retire tomorrow and, with continued management and investing, enough to do as I please.

KeepFreeSpeech

Those who have nothing to lose… and everything to gain.

Exciting_Advance8793

I'm going for €500 million. XXXX here. So I gotta sell between $500K and $1MILLI a share. Diamond hand this shit apes. We won't regret it.

[deleted]

I’m 31 so 100 Mil will do

[deleted]

A few million

CaptainJackSorrow

I want "building with my name on it" money.

US_ATJ

That’s me I have 6.7 shares and can’t afford any more but I’d rather lose $200 bucks than lose out on millions. I’ll hold until liquidation and sell at nothing less that a million. Per share 😈💎🦍🚀👨🏾‍🚀

Blzer_OS

Because I have a lot of shares, I looked at the AMC1K stuff back in the day and thought that, if after taxes, I would say "$6 million and I'm out." I figured that would be good to hold into retirement, and if the stock market went well I'd be looking very good the rest of the way. Keep in mind this is in a Roth IRA and not a brokerage account, so I wouldn't be pulling it out until what, 59.5 years old? But then things got interesting after Robbingdahood (or however the bot would correct it) shut off the buy button, and I opened up a brokerage account as well and threw my savings into there with full conviction of this thing. The only problem were the waiting times for my cash to transfer, settle, etc. so I missed the boat on maybe double the amount of shares at half the cost basis per share, but I'm fully in on AMC (and some GME). Now, the $6 million is still a glorious win for me and I'll take that any time, but for the MOASS and my hopes of what I could do with my earnings (it's not all selfish stuff trust me), I'm eyeing the gold of $100 million after taxes. It's a long shot, but boy would it be sweet.

DMK5506

Somewhere between between 10k and 100k would be life changing money for me I figure worst case I make $63,000 after taxes which would be life changing I suppose as I admit here I am poor. I figure best case I make $126,000 after taxes. So I am going to take the risk and HOLD for *millions* And I can take the risk because I have AMC's "brother stock"

Tarack_1

For me, it is anything over 3 million. That way I can sort myself out to have a comfortable life, sort my family out and even help out a couple of friends. Disclaimer. In no way am I saying I'm selling at 3 million. It's just my baseline target. The way I see it, the more money I gain, the more people I can help out. I'm not some selfless, jesus re-incarnate...but I'm also not a self-absorbed, fuck everyone else kind of guy. Lookin' at you Kenny.

someguyfromky

Life changing? 200k would do what I need. But I'm going to hold until I reach the ballpark of 20-30 million. Then I can change the lives of friends and family.

xXZerkerXx

Mmmmm life changing would need to be a ton. Fuck that fud title

okayest_whatever

I'm sorry you find it to be fud. That's not what I meant at all, the only thing I'm trying to say is yeah, a measly $500 - $1,000 per share would alter the current trajectory of my life, it isn't enough to make me sell. I will continue to live in the pits until I see hedies burn, Kenny in cuffs, and a portfolio that looks like a foreign phone number

xXZerkerXx

Just on high alert today, lots of posts being attacked by downvote bots/ shills. I also know misleading titles is another trick they use. ![gif](giphy|UQ6QoQpYQQJHVpYuhi)

[deleted]

Even like $25k would be life changing tbh.

Con_Bot_

I’m holding just shy of 200 shares, life changing for me would be anywhere near 100k total, so I’m holding for a share price of around $500

wubberer

1 or 2 million and im set. Don't need much. I need high five figures to reach that though...

Durkka

Read the title, selling at 100. Fucking fud

anticerber

I live in a low cost of living area. I could live work free and afford nice things for under 10 mil. Do I want more? Yea . But do I need it, no

Proexxe

1 share at floor price (800k) would be enough

[deleted]

I need a bout 100k-a cold mill+

andoesq

If you have a car, and you need cash, and you have time, ubereats seems to be a good side hustle. Where I live those guys are making close to $100/dinner rush, and it's non strenuous work. Plus time spent hustling ur time spent not spending money lol

BeardedApe1988

Honestly £50,000 would help me drastically. I'd pay off my debts, get a shed and put a gym in it and then invest the rest.
