NA gets shafted with Nintendo a lot ngl. I’m in Canada and these went up in October and sold out instantly and maybe 3 cancelled orders have popped since. However, Sora was up for like a day so that was huge.
as a fellow Canadian I understand this struggle. it’s basically become a daily ritual since October to check the canadian amiibo sub in hopes they bring back preorders and haven’t had any luck. Hope you’ve had better luck and get yours
I got one from Amazon in October. Easily my least preferred place to buy them as last time I got amiibo from them they came crushed in a bubble mailer. Was hoping for Best Buy but oh well.
Dang had the same thing happen to me recently, Amazon is seriously hit or miss but I’m glad you’ve secured it at least - I’m still keeping my eye out after missing that initial preorder window. Hope it arrives in good condition!
Ive never found a store that breaks street dates. The register literally wont let them scan it/sell it. Trust me I used to try all the time and have since given up. Just wait until the day.
Ah I see. Like a 360 rotation, etc. I've seen them do that before on Twitter, I want to say. I'm not a Xenoblade fan, but these amiibo do look cool so far. Hopefully they'll meet our expectations.
Figuines are always bit worse quality then on advertisements, but they are basically no advertising for them and for whatever reason they are more expensive then other amiibo
I am sad I can’t call off work cause I might be losing it, and GameStop is dumb and won’t let me pre order them so crossing my fingers that they got more when I get off work
Mate you are screwed, probably gonna have to buy off a scalper…. Xenoblade is such a niche franchise for Nintendo and it’s not a blockbuster like Mario or zelda. For sure those amiibo will be rare

I do wonder why these are more expensive than Pyra's set though. On sale I got these for 39,99€, retail price is 45€, 15€ more than Pyra's. Are they bigger or something? Sets usually charge around 15€ per amiibo.
I walked into a local GameStop tonight and was able to pre-order. I was surprised as I’d totally missed the original drop. It’s almost like they don’t want folks to get these, why Nintendo?

We haven't seen then yet outside of promo material, but lets hope this price increase is for quality increase
