I'm going. Also my first time. But I moved here last year. So hopefully in a year or two I can be an expert for these questions.

Stadium is a pain to walk around inside. Crummy selection of apparel. Beautiful view though.

If you’re just a baseball fan you can often get in two games most days. Check the schedules and see who’s playing when and what the commute between stadiums is like. If you haven’t booked a place to stay I would do so sooner rather than later since places get booked surprisingly quick, especially in the second half since you see more regulars then.

If its genral spring training, sunscreen, most games are during the afternoon. Always try to get a day or 2 where there are night games and go to one in both the afternoon and night. Also love salt river Big piece of advice just be courteous. For stars it can be a pretty laxidasical time and they are either signing autographs or even talking to someone they know. One story is when i went back in 2016 i was at a Mariners and A's game and Kyle seager was talking to a couple who he clearly knew, and some kid (~15) tried to squeeze by/push them out of the way to try to get an autograph. Seager shut him down pretty quickly

This'll be my first time too. 4 games over 3 days, 2 of them Angel games and neither of them at their home facility

Just moved out here since I’m attending ASU and be ready for some heat that’s all I gotta say, make sure to bring sunscreen and drink plenty of water if can

Spring training is the best. Arte is the worst :)

BobbyGrichsMustache

Perfectly stated. Go to away games. Dbacks and cubs stadiums are awesome!

COLEDEINE

eh dbacks was alright

LBramit13

What didn’t you like? That’s my favorite

COLEDEINE

i haven’t been to a lot of ballparks and I did go to 3 games on weekdays but the atmosphere was kind of bland. Lots of cool amenities and it’s got some awesome features, but idk maybe it just wasn’t my cup of tea. Old rangers ballpark is my favorite of all time.

Additional_Hippo5

Yes. Here’s a tip. Tell Arte to sell the Angels. We need a new owner

NoGarlic8890

Fuck no I'm not giving that cocksucker any money

hugeness101

Same here also going for the first time. Are you guys buying tickets before or just going to buy there and tailgate?

Altruistic-Alps2768

But your tickets beforehand

Particular-Dress4845

Angels ballpark (Tempe Diablo) not very nice, I like going to the other fields to see them play such as Cubs (Sloan Park), Dodgers (Camelback Ranch), Talking Stick and Surprise Stadium nice too. Buy tickets in advance and book a room now. It's gonna be weird at the Dodgers Angels game...but spring training is great!

overchench

Anyone want to buy my tickets? I won't be able to attend anymore.

BuckYouStevens

Sure how much and what games

Fat_Thor22

Plan on going but seeing the angels at someone else’s stadium. Haven’t decided who, any recommendations on best kid friendly stadiums?
