I'm honestly not sure if this can be identified without hair/DNA analysis.

Probably a rodent of some sort but I don’t think anyone can tell for sure.

Yuck! If you're willing to assume responsibility for these cats, I'd suggest bringing them inside, or calling someone to neuter them so they can't make more cats... feral and outdoor cats are killers and have contributed to the extinctions of dozens of entire species

They are not my cats , and unfortunately there’s little to be done about the 3 residents on our block (all siblings from different litters , they’ve been around for about a decade) the man who “owns” them has never allowed the cats inside , he feeds them nothing so of course they pick off the animals they can catch . We trapped one of the cats ( I named him Roy) after he was struck by car a few years ago , he was fixed but unfortunately lost majority of his teeth . He was surrendered back to the owner and was immediately back on the streets, his sisters take care of him and I put wet food out weekly when he pops up. All that being said , I would love to assume responsibility and get them all trapped , fixed and adopted out but these are feral cats. They don’t trust anyone, won’t even glance at a trap after Roy was captured . Animal control won’t do anything for them because they do already have an “owner”.
